I've had this chest cold for about a month now, and it's really starting to get annoying. Mostly a dry cough, sometimes phlegm. Any ideas on beating this? I take cough syrup every day or two. Doesn't seem to do much but calm it for an hour or so. Can doctors even give me anything for this?

for a month? i would seriously consider setting up an appointment or something cause i never heard of a cold lasting longer than a month. Could it be allergies or something else.

Now dont overreact but i would suggest setting up an appointment with your doc becuase i dont think a cold should last this long.

Then again i have only been on this earth for 16 years so there is a chance that i am the one overreacting tongue.gif.

Im no doctor but for a chest cold that long I would look into allergies. If its not then I would try drinkin hot tea, that seems to help me alot with dry coughing. Good luck and feel better!

I just had this problem and thought it was allergies - it was asthmatic bronchitis. Get that shit looked at son! You probably need abx if you're still having symptoms.
