Welcome to the forums of the Realism Unit, the 1st Marine Raider Battalion! We hope your visit to this site gets you interested in the realism community as a whole, and provides good information with accurate historical data. We are a realism unit based in Day of Defeat: Source and focus on a paramilitary structure. We use realistic ranks, and a chain of command. Our primary goal is to provide a calm and structured environment for our players and anyone who plays in our servers.

These are our public servers open to anyone who plays Day of Defeat: Source. Add us to your favorites, and come play! We hope to see you in our servers, anytime of the day. Have a question regarding the server? Add a 1st Marine Raider Battalion member to your friends, and he/she will answer any questions, or find the answer!

 

Want to play in a realism? Be aware they are quite a change of pace from normal Day of Defeat, and ask one of our members for an invite to our open realisms. Open realisms are held whenever there is an admin available to host it in our private server. If you wish to receive a notification when a open realism is occurring, ask a Raider about joining our Steam Community! If you are in our community, we can send invites easily and quickly to all interested.
