  1. I was gonna let this one slide, but for the sake of transparency, Dov is one of my alternate accounts. I would start by saying I don't mind if someone is suspicious enough to spectate me. That should be your first step most of the time. Contrary to the visible admin chat in the video, I am a very good carbine player. In fact, as difficult as this might be to believe, I'm a very good player in general. If you have an issue with a specific timestamp in the video, please share and I can explain the exact reasoning why I played like that. There is clearly recoil in the video, I'm not sure where it seems recoil-less. No-Recoil with the carbine in DoD:S is insanely obvious. It makes the carbine a pinpoint accurate weapon no matter the situation. The carbine is a remarkably overpowered gun due to its versatility, and I usually only use it when I get a little annoyed. In this case, before the recording started, I got headshot like 4 times from a c96. That's usually enough to annoy me. Although I do not use it, the scroll wheel script was never explicitly banned. It was deemed too difficult to tell if someone could naturally click that fast or was using the wheel. There are some indicators when someone is using the wheel, but I'll give you a hint, they aren't in this video. It's safe to be skeptical of a player, I'd encourage it in order to better yourself. But I've always been a proponent of vanilla game, and the only things I do different is rebind for southpaw. Clearly I'm "very average" though, maybe I don't know what I'm talking about after all.
  2. I really like Corsair parts, they're probably the top line right now for auxiliary parts. Doesn't hurt I get a discount from them usually via vendor connections. However, 60mm is kinda out-dated so you actually typically don't have a whole lot of choices. Just make sure you find one that fits your socket. Typically it is better to shop for CPU coolers via CPU socket, as a lot of modern ones can extend the fan out separate via internal watercooling pumps. For example, we'll use my current cooler: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CW-9060025-WW-Radiator-Advanced-Lighting/dp/B019EXSSBG/ref=sr_1_7?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1520277517&sr=1-7&keywords=cpu+cooler As part of the specs, it lists the sockets: Modular, tool-free mounting bracket for installation on Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-3 and most modern CPUs. (I have Intel) The smaller portion is the part that applies to the actual CPU. The fans attach to the outside of the case. Liquid is regulated internally so I don't have to do any fidgeting with liquid myself. So basically, although right over the cpu itself can't fit a large fan, I can still get decent cooling space. Of course, if your machine is super old to have a 60mm cpu cooler, then it might be a tight case anyways. Other option that highlights the same idea: https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CW-9060007-WW-Performance-Liquid-Cooler/dp/B00A0HZMGA/ref=sr_1_5?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1520277517&sr=1-5&keywords=cpu+cooler If you really need the 60mm size: https://www.amazon.com/Profile-Aluminum-Structure-Connector-Internal/dp/B079RMM25W/ref=sr_1_6?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1520278055&sr=1-6&keywords=60mm+cpu+cooler Thermal Compound if you need it (a lot of them don't come with it) https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-ORACO-MX40001-BL-Compound-Performance-Interface/dp/B0045JCFLY/ref=sr_1_13?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1520277517&sr=1-13&keywords=cpu%2Bcooler&th=1 One tube of it lasts ages.
  3. https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html HWMonitor can help to identify if a part is overheating. If your rig is modern, there are times that fans will not run and that's OK. My GPU fans don't come on until the GPU is under strain, same with the CPU cooler. Based on your description, you might think about a PSU issue. If the machine just powers off and has trouble rebooting, your power supply might have an issue. I'm currently fixing a friend's computer with a similar issue. If you are computer savvy enough to replace your PSU, and are confident enough it's a PSU problem, here's a recommendation: Go to your local Best Buy (or store with a similar return policy), purchase a PSU slightly better than the one you currently own. Install it (install can be messy, leave it easy to remove), and do some high power tasks/activities. If the PC shuts off, PSU is not the problem. If the problem is not occurring, almost certainly a PSU issue. If it doesn't solve the issue, remove the PSU, replace the original, and return to your retailer. Places like Best Buy have 15-day return policies, so just get the money back and use them as a test monkey. Your other main issue might be a CPU heat issue. HWMonitor will give you some good idea of what temps you're looking at. I recall having a CPU overheat issue, I was getting upwards of 90C. Turned out the CPU Cooler's pump wasn't working correctly so the liquid cooling portion of just the CPU cooler was not functioning. Hard to diagnose without looking at the temps. You can report back temps to see if it's too high. CPU max should be like 60C. Take a look at all your parts and verify warranties for RMA as well. Many auxiliary parts like PSU, coolers, or fans have 5 year warranties. This response might be a little random seeming, but your initial description unfortunately leaves a lot of room for what could be going on. Could be literally any part in the PC, except probably the GPU, HDD (SSD), or sound card.
  4. Fairly disappointed overall. Pretty sure the showrunners just want to move on, with the way they're rushing probably the most successful show of all time. The books had established (even with the Tarlys) the Lannisters wouldn't have had enough forces to take Highgarden. The Hightowers and other bannerlords of the Tyrells would've been much more potent. But they seemingly take the city without much issue. Apparently there are no lords in Dorne willing to field armies against the much despised Lannisters other than the awful (and thankfully dead) Sand Snakes. Never mind Blackmont, Dayne, or Yronwood. The stupid Sand Snakes die, and Dorne is defeated. I realize their army might've been on that initial fleet attack, but that would be awfully convenient and ruins any defense of Euron's teleportation fleet. The plot armor has been a little ridiculous. It's not ASoIF to let people live like this. To put them in "life-threatening" situations at this point seems insulting to the audience. Falling in water is apparently a guarantee of survival. The expedition north of The Wall was an exercise in pure idiocy. The problem as I see it, was they never had established the Horn of Winter subplot which has status in the books. The only entertaining thing was this assembling of the "GoT A-Team", misfits to head north. Won't happen in the books, which isn't to say Jon won't foray north again but it won't be as stupid a reason for him to. I just think the writers didn't have a lot of respect for the material they were working from, and Weiss and Benioff want to move on to this stupid Civil War alternate slave drama they got a bunch of press for. Finish it as quick as we can seems to be the recipe. I'm not sure I would've preferred them to wait for GRRM to actually finish Winds of Winter, but with the money HBO has been throwing at them, feel free to hire a competent writing team. Impressive CGI though. Loot train attack was fun.
  5. I play with Parker and Willow pretty often, hit us up to play! I just built a new rig, so I'll begin streaming. https://www.twitch.tv/chrome_badger
  6. From the director of "Fifth Element" based on the graphic novel series "Valerian and Laureline" Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and Laureline (Cara Delevingne) are special operatives for the government of the human territories charged with maintaining order throughout the universe. Under directive from their Commander (Clive Owen), Valerian and Laureline embark on a mission to the breathtaking intergalactic city of Alpha, an ever-expanding metropolis comprised of thousands of different species from all four corners of the universe. Alpha’s seventeen million inhabitants have converged over time- uniting their talents, technology and resources for the betterment of all. Unfortunately, not everyone on Alpha shares in these same objectives; in fact, unseen forces are at work, placing our race in great danger. Looks pretty fantastic to me.
  7. Nows the time to buy into stock in salt. prices are lower than ever as supply skyrockets. I didn't vote for him, but the media blew him up into a character. I honestly like his "first 100 days" plan. If you want to know trump's victory, look at how Obama won. Obama didn't let the Rust Belt (middle america) sit around. he promised change and difference and his team pounded the dirt with cold political door-to-door knocking. Wisconsin and Michigan are two good examples. Blue since '88, lost to the Red. Come to little America, get off twitter and take a look at the Rust Belt voters. They don't care about trump's twitter account. They feel betrayed by Obama's promise of a fixed economy, and they feel threatened with open borders. Hillary comes and campaigns on LGBT rights and expanding the (failed) ACA. It's a pretty obvious vote when you threaten to dump more money into a system that's already skyrocketed Healthcare costs for many poor Americans and ignore the issues the disenfranchised people care about. There's not been a smoking gun on trump to the racist and sexist accusations. You ain't gonna convince me just shy of 60 million voters are racist and misogynist, and the accusations have done more to piss off voters than actually hurt trump. Give the pumpkin a chance to disappoint us. Who knows, you might be surprised.
  8. I wouldn't be living up to my nature if I didn't offer some counter points: accents in Star Wars have always been tedious. Because of the original Star Wars and Grand Moff Tarkin the Imperial forces usually get a British accent, hearkening back to when the British could actually scare people. The reason they may come across as tedious is because it seems like each new movie attempts to throw in a bunch of new accents or odd manners of speech. That being said, they are very clearly travelling to a number of different planets so different accents should be assumed. As for the robot, Alan Tudyk (Wash from Firefly/Serenity) is the voice actor, and the director has described him as "the antithesis of C-3PO" so he's going to have odd mannerisms. I think he stands out for a number of reasons; he's 7'1" (216 cm) and he's mostly CGI. (to which Anthony Daniels {original C-3PO} told Tudyk "You shit") He's supposed to be a mix of IG-88, Marvin, and R2-D2 (who I better not need to link a picture). Those things being said, I do have reservations about Rogue One. Reports say it will be the first Star Wars movie to not have an opening crawl. Which is a horrible choice if true. The opening crawl is signature to Star Wars and would be necessary for Albertans like Quarterman to understand when this is taking place. There's been an abnormally high amount of reshoots. Is it Disney interference or is the director having second thoughts? It's worrying in the least. On the other other hand, we get the first ever movie appearance of Shadow Troopers, who, if they live up to their previous reputation should be ruthless, badass, and dangerous
  9. I'm running a straw-poll for the 2016 election, only I don't care if you're foreign or a felon! Everybody gets a vote, who are you voting for this November?
  10. Teasers for the first balance update TL;DR Expect a damage drop for McCree, the devs didn't intend for him to be able to shred tanks so effectively. So at the very least, a damage drop for "Fan the Hammer". Expect a buff for DVA. She's currently rated as low damage and low survivability, and the devs are going to decide which should be buffed. I expect other balance changes, however these are the only ones being teased thus far.
