Nope it seems that they even fucked up the opening ceremony. The snowflakes were suppose to expand into the five Olympic rings, the last one was having none of it.

I'll bet you out of everything, it is the only thing they get right during these games.

After what I have seen of Russia's "preparations" for these game it is obvious that they should have chosen another location or another country all together. Russia has handled this very poorly and by putting the event in the middle of the most terrorist filled part of the world they have put thousands of peoples lives in jeopardy. Hell the games haven't even started here in the U.S. or just barely and people are already trying to force there way into the "ring of steel" by attempting to hijack planes with bombs. There construction of most of the "hotels" in the region is not complete yet, other Olympic buildings aren't ready yet. This to me is Russia's plan to win the games this time around, make living conditions so horrible for every other nation rather than there own to make it so Russia has the most sleep/least amount of stress during the games. I have no clue as to why the I.O.C. picked Russia to hold the games this time around but after what I have seen, I hope they never get another one. Hell China, didn't have this kind of an issue in 2008 and I would have expected it from them but not the Russians. Hell, Greece had better accommodations in 2004 on the brink of economic collapse than Russia for the winter games. It is stupid to think we have put our own athletes at risk for these games, telling them not to wear any Team USA material outside the Olympic Housing and to not wear there medals (if we win any). This to me is a complete lack of planning by the Russian government, and it shows. What do you guys think of Russia's handling of the games so far? Is it above or below your Olympic expectations?

Well it as the title says, I had my first auto accident yesterday. I was headed to pick up my brother from school using the route I normally used to get there. Well because of the snow storm that hit the states yesterday, the roads were icy and not even three blocks away from my house I crashed going down the fort street hill. The hill is probably 100 feet tall, and when I got 3/4 of the way down the hill I must have hit some ice. Cause I started to drift and there was nothing I could do to stop it. My right side tires left the road and gravity pulled me into the ditch. But the ride didn't stop there, I kept going having lost all control of my van. I hit a telephone pole that was 50 ft off of the road head on with the passenger side of my van at 30+ miles per hour. Needless to say it was not fun, my whole body aches including my neck. I'm pretty sure I have bruises on things I didn't know I could have bruises on. For now I think I bruised my knees, my right eye (cause it hurts to move it side to side) and my neck is killing me. The airbags did deploy so that helped and I escaped even more damage by hitting the passenger side rather than the driver's side. I was not the only one to crash on that hill that night either, as we went to make arrangements with the tow truck (which was about 5 hours later), we noticed that 4 - 5 other cars had slide out on that same stretch of the hill. I was the first one to crash, but I was not the last. I'll try to see if I can get a picture of the van, it got totaled hitting that pole but at least i'm still alive. I can always get another car. The only strange thing about this is that I don't seem to have a seat belt bruise. I seen pictures of them in my driver's safety course 2 years ago and I somehow managed to be able to get out of my van virtually unscathed with no seat belt bruise.

Ya it must of been boring to watch a team that was predicted by vegas and all other peeps to win get completely blown away by the seahawks. I LOVED THE GAME! Watched every minute of it with glee! Go Seahawks! I didn't even watch and went to watch super bowl ads. They ended up being commercials that I had already seen 2 weeks in advance or not funny at all. Really bummed out by this years "Super" Bowl. Another question, why did they decide to use helicopters rather than the jets they normally do?
