I'll give you baseball cause I am a Red Sox fan, only because I needed a team to root for, because the Brewers have like one good season every millenia. The Boston Bruins are alright, but I am a Blackhawks fan if I have to say I am a fan of ANY hockey team. As for basketball, I am a Lakers fan, just to piss off all my Celtics fan friends .

Packers are the only undefeated team in the league. Last year they beat the two favorites in the playoffs, the Falcons they crushed em like 49 to 17. The Steelers had the "Number 1 Defense and Number 2 Offense" in the league, and they still beat em. AND they did that with 15 Starters on the IR. So, you tell me that the Packers are a pile of shit, and i will show you a man who is jealous . Oh and the Packers have 13 NFL Championships under their belt, there is a reason the Super Bowl Trophy is the "Lombardi Trophy" .

Brady is a douchebag. Hands down. And think about it this way, Aaron Rodgers has been playing starter for what, 3-4 years? Tom Brady has been playing starter on a team built by a cheater (yes Bellichik is a cheater), for 10 years or so. Give Aaron Rodgers time, he'll be far better then Tom Brady. And that still doesn't mean that the Packers aren't the number one team right now, I mean shit, who is the only undefeated team? The god damn Green Bay Motherfucking Packers. There is a reason they call our state "Win-Sconsin" .

I remember my first dog, Elvis. He was a pure bred Newfoundland, and one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. I was 4 when we got him. I remember the day too, we went to an awareness for animal adoption thing for local humane centers, and there he was, a little over a year old. My parents have a picture of when I first met him, the big lug was laying under a table, and I have my arms wrapped around his neck. We were best of friends. I recall all the times my dad would hook him up to a harness we had, (he was a big dog) and during the winter my dad walked down to our school and picked up my sister and I in a sled and he would drag us home. I remember all the times up at our cottage, we had a retrieving dummy, I would throw it and he would go bounding into the water, pick it up and then would come splashing back and drop it gingerly at my feet. All the times I would wake up on Saturday morning and turn on cartoons, or my playstation and he would come in and lay on the couch with me and take a nap. Then one day I remember walking down into the kitchen when I was 9 or 10. He would usually wake up right away and greet me by rubbing his head against my leg while I ate breakfast. But that day he didn't get up, he laid on his side and whined. I remember skipping school that day, and took him to the vet with my dad. His stomach had twisted, if anyone has seen that Marley and Me movie, it was the same thing. The vet said that they could try and operate but it was only a matter of time before he passed. He was getting older, but he was only 5-6. I remember sitting in the vet's office, while my dad took him in to fill out paperwork, and the lady across the waiting room from me had the biggest Rottweiler I had ever seen. I was crying, and I remember the big ol' Rotty walked over and put his massive head in my lap, and stayed there, looking up at me, he knew something was wrong. I went in when my dad called me in, and hugged Elvis for one last time, and then he was gone. I walked back out and the Rotty was sitting right there by the door to the waiting room and immediately came back over to me as I sat down for a bit and waited. Honestly one of the saddest moments in my life, I had lost my best friend but I learned something that day, from that Rottweiler and from my boy Elvis. Dog's can tell when something is wrong. They know when you hurt when no one else does, but they never judge. They love you unconditionally at all times, no matter what you do for a living. A dog listens, even though they cannot talk, they can always make you feel better. I remember hearing a story one time, about a man and his son and their dog. A man and his wife and son had a pet dog that had been a loyal family pet for a few years. One day it had gotten sick, and they weren't sure how to tell their son because he was relatively young. However they told him what was happening and they had him in the vets office when the dog was put down. They sat around for a while after, with the vet, and talked about some memories of the dog. The mother made a comment, "I don't know why dogs pass so quickly some times". To this, the little boy piped up "I know why...". When they all turned to look at him, the little boy spoke "Well, people live long lives to learn how to love each other and be good and stuff right? Well to dogs, they are always that way, so they don't have to stay around as long..." God damn it, I miss my dog.

I have it on the way for my 360, but before ya'll cry heresy, I have a copy for PC too, so when I get back from the 'Stan, I will be building what I like to refer to as "Der Kern" aka "The Core", basically the UberMensch of computer, I will post up more details once I get all the parts together that I am ordering. But needless to say 3 screens, dual video cards, the works...

What's that? The Packers are still 7-0? Undefeated? Oh thats right, CAUSE THEY ARE THE MF'ING CHAMPS! just had to say that sorry. Aaron Rodgers = Best Quarterback in the league right now hands down. And now for something completely different: Pats suck, Chargers Suck, Saints suck (although they destroyed whoever they were playing this week like it wasn't even cool), Lions are ok, Chiefs suck, Raiders suck, Bengals are alright, Cowboys are a joke, and lets not get started about Chicago...Oh and Minnesota is garbage, but our defense almost lost that game for us. But its still a W on the board . (JK much love Goodwin )

HAHAHAHA yet, the Packers are the only ones who are 6-0 in the league . GO PACK GO! GREEN BAY FOR LIFE!

I just got this game yesterday for 25 bucks, so I thought it was a deal. Only problem is that even though I BOUGHT the DAMN CD, I for some unforeseen reason still have to download all the files and install it? How fucking stupid is that? If I buy the CD, I shouldn't have to download a god damn thing! So hopefully once I get it downloaded, I can play it. I am looking at 2 weeks minimum for download time.

Yes. Got yelled at because the chain on our pit target broke, so I ripped it off cause it sliced open my hand and I was pissed. Have you ever staged a battle to the death between a scorpion and a tarantula, and bet money on it?

I would like to add my 3 favorite quotes as well: 1. Oderint Dum Metuant - Latin for "Let them Hate, so long as they fear.." 2. We the unfailing led by the unqualified, doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have done so much with so little for so long that we are now professionally qualified to do anything with nothing.. 3. For he who sheds his blood today, shall forever be my brother...

Not to mention awful beeping noise I hear when the barracks door lock is engaged, a keycard having been slid through it, knowing the inevitable clack of the door opening happens seconds later... But yes NSFW would be good as a warning lol.

Ok, to be fair? You're "Glocknade" excuse is thin. That can go for just about any gun that you own, especially pistols. Don't get me wrong the WWII-era pistols are great, I own a German Made Luger that I cherish. However the point I am making, is that especially in mdoern times, the 1911 has lost its luster. The modern 1911's are not anywhere NEAR as reliable as you make them out to be, they are made from inferior parts and by inferior manufacturers. The original Colt 1911 was a great handgun, don't get me wrong, I just don't see how people can still love it so much when so many of the knock offs people make are absolute shit. I prefer my guns to be simple, easy to use and easy to clean. Comparing the glocks total of 5 parts to strip it down to a field strip, to the 1911's probably 8-12 pieces (I forget the exact amount), I will take the simpler and easier to maintain pistol. My point is, if all your reasons for hating a Glock (It's ugly, uncomfortable, and supposedly explosive), are all based on personal opinion and conjecture, then its not a strong argument. It's an ugly pistol, yes, but its got beauty in its simplicity. Not to mention the company has one of the highest reliability rates of any handgun maker in the world. It's uncomfortable, again based on opinon. You can't shoot a Glock like you shoot a 1911. That's like saying you shoot a .44 Magnum Revolver like you shoot a 1911. They are different guns, you have to hold them differently. It's explosive, well perhaps if someone doesn't know how to properly maintain a firearm, (although I will say I have never heard of this "Glocknade" theory you speak of), then perhaps something like that may have happened once or twice. However that doesn't make it the majority, otherwise why would police and military forces around the world use it as their primary handgun?

Dillon, you can start with your beloved members of the 1st! Adding to my list: I want to visit the site of the Battle of Thermopalyae, as well as visit the sites of the Battle of Waterloo (there is actually a farmhouse there with musket balls still lodged in the walls, that you can stay in for a night for cash. I would love to do that).
-
No offense, but are you out of your mind? Granted, it's an ugly pistol, but everything about the pistol is efficient, from the weapons parts, and the way to operate the pistol. As for price? I can get a brand new Glock 21 for 550 bucks, with 2 10 round magazines, a cleaning rod and a Glock Mag Load device. Not a bad price if you ask me. As for a Tokarev, yeah thats a nice piece. As for modern pistols, you really are pretty much limited ot either a cheap-o 1911 Knock Off, or a cheap-o Beretta knock off. That's what it has unfortunately come down to, if you are looking for something that's not a revolver, and has a higher caliber then .380 Automatic.

.45 is a high power round, but the .40 cal has just about the same knockdown, for a lower cost. I mean shit, its the federally used service round now for the FBI, CIA, and like 26 other countries militaries and national police forces. It's gotta be doing something right. I prefer the .40 over the .45 because it just feels like a more consistent round to me. And to Pang, about the laxness of the trigger and all his troubles, sounds like an Operator Head Space and Timing failure to me .
-
Jump on the bandwagon you nancy. Open up your mind, go learn a few things about other .45 cal's out there. The 1911 isn't the only one, as a matter of fact the Glock 21 is a .45 thats about 10x more reliable then the 1911. The 1911 is a pretty gun, but I would rather have an ugly gun that I can rely on in a scenario where I need it, then a pretty gun that might jam on me.

HOLY FUCK DUDE! I am picking up 3 22rd .40 Cal Mags as we speak!
