thanks greco and St-Denis ive been thinking it was the PSU since i got the card :S it was only ment to be a temp one until i could afford a better one.. looks like imma have to cave and just get one next pay. its not like really even noticeable while im playing... but i just know my card is bottlenecked and can be doing so much better.. i played modernwarfare 2 no choppiness on full graphic settings.. no reason why a game from the early 2000s should be running like shit LOL

i know its seriously driving me nuts.. i think honestly its my powersupply bottlenecking it.. the recomendations were atleast a 450watt where as mine is only 400.. or its my who rig set up all together.. new parts in a older pc.. well 2 year old. i think if i had even a i5 setup with a bigger powersupply i wouldnt be having this prob with my card.

touched side of my heatsink its rather cool.. its winter in canada my rooms always freezing i have the side open like most normal computer geeks to let air flow inside.. my graphics card fan is set to 65% with a stable 39 degree temperature :S what do u suggest any home remedies i can do to lower my cpu temp? i close almost every program cept virus scan and steam when playing games :S maybe its time to can of air the fans maybe thats causing it. but its been like this since i got my new card i was told id have amazing FPS once i got this radeon... and it isnt any better then my old shitty 512mb...

i get a steady 99-100 fps.. sometimes it drops down to 60.. there should be no reason for this i have a Radeon HD 5770 1gb card... phenom 3 core chip, 4 gigs of ddr2 ram, my motherboard is a Nforce... powersupply is only 400w.. my friend shrugs who has a worse pc then i do.. gets close to 200 fps.. is there anything i am doing wrong? could it be my powersupply bottle necking my card? i think i am in need of a new one... could it be my processor? this game is kinda outdated now.. i just really dont understand lol oh and my OS is win7 64bit. also have a badass 24inch LG flat screen hd monitor. anything else u need to know just ask im just saying all this off the top of my head.
