I was wondering if perhaps from time to time when server is near full if we could activate team chat sometimes. I have a couple of reasons for this. I understand we would lose some of the open chat feeling but I feel it wont hurt if you still have 15 people or so on your team to talk with. 1. Cut down on not exactly mic spamming but just the inability to talk sometimes because of 20 or so voices running over eachother. 2. Increase team work by allowing mics to call out locations and not let the enemy know we know. 3. Sometimes so much talking is going on I cant hear the game (footsteps, etc). 4. Just a change of pace by adding a little change every so often. Sorry this isnt well written but im at work and just shooting this out between customers. Let me reiterate again I dont want this to be a full time change. Just a little change when enough people are on and someone of appropriate leadership is there to take care of it. Anyways, I dont want a big house give me a decent 1500 sq ft house on some nice land near a nice beach or lake. Get a nice Toyota Tacoma 4x4 (30k or so). Max out my IRA for the year. Design a brewery shed for my own good stuff. Rest will pay off family debt where i can. oh and a tricked out top o the line Computer with a top end internet connection.

I was at a bar and went to buy some cigs across the street. This guy in cutoff jean shorts and ear gauges and nose ring was trying to buy a 12 pack of Bud Light. He didnt have enough money so i see him later pass me when im outside the bar smoking with Natty Light. So i talk to him and he informed me he rode here from boston on his bike. I asked if it was a crotch rocket or a cruiser. He replies, no, no my Bike. Guy rode across country for 6 months on a bicycle trying to get clean from Cocaine. Homeless since he was 16 .. lol so love random drunk conversations.

Haha, yea he just came over and went to the patio and we made em a drink. He had some crazy funny stories. One thing friends and family of mine know I cant resist talking to crazy strangers because of the stories. Haha.

So the other night the lady and I are walking the dog at night. We left with our cups of booze and were enjoying the walk when the Dog runs up to this guy sitting against his car smoking in front of his house. So we start talking and this guy seemed cool enough. We are drunk so i guess anything is cool. So he says something and my girlfriend goes to cheer's his hand and the guy takes it as an offer to take a sip. He drinks it then invites himself to our house to share in our booze. Haha wtf.. who invites themselves to a strangers house to drink there booze. I just had to share it. Anyone have a wierd story like that?

One thing to try is verify file integrity threw the properties of DoD. If that doesnt work i had to go into the DoD files and rename the DoD:S file. Then run the game and it recreates the file and worked fine. However you will need to transfer your maps into the new folder so you have them, etc. Hope this works. Edit: Didnt see you fixed it, my bad.

I did a speednet test last night and i got 30Mb DL and 1Mb Up so i am super excited. I was only supposed to get 7Mb DL. Hope it stays that way.

Ok thank you for the response. They of course tried to upsell me to some 80 dollar a month plan with insane turbo speed but to much money. If i can game fine on 7Mb/1Mb then ill be a happy man. Cant be any worse than the wireless i play moderatly well with =P. Thanks again.

I am moving and could only afford the bottle level Cable service from Road-runner. It is 7mb DL and 1mb Up, will that be enough for me to have a good gaming experience? Possibly lower my Lerp a bit and raise my cmd and update rate? Would appreciate any info on how to know what a game like DoD:S uses in mb. Thanks much

I too feel that this would be a wonderful idea if worked out properly. Rank shouldn't be an issue as it doesn't mean your level of maturity. So members volunteer for a time slot and the officers of other leadership can give a complete briefing on what is expected of an admin/MP. Then before they are left to there shift they shadow and perhaps are allowed to have limited admin during high play time and they can get on the job training on what is proper. Then after the probation period they are allowed there shift. Your incentive for lower ranks proper use of admin duties would be perhaps a day or few hours of your choosing when you have no wep restrictions.
