I saw that video the other day, and I was slighty sickened afterwards. I'm fine now, but still think about how that could ever happen to the poor lad.

Well, when I get a new toy I like to use it frequently to get used to it.

I just played for about 40 minutes without any crashes, so far it is working after updating the drivers.

The max temperature the card reached was 67 C and 69 C.

Ok, I have the HWMonitor downloaded and will try it out out today and get some numbers for you.

Also downloaded the driver update.

What I don't understand is that this game was working fine for months until one day it became unstable. And this is the only source game I have issues with crashing.

That is interesting, I did not realize that was happening. Where I live, there is a large Bask population and a growing Mormon hive. I don't mind either of them as long as they do not pressure their "ways" on to my life. The Bask don't try to press anything too significant to my knowledge, they are content driving taxis. I live in Boise, ID. I really don't know a lot about the other cultures in Boise or pay a lot of attention to them, I just mind my business. Utah is to the South of Idaho, and Boise is in South Idaho, which explains the increasing Mormon population.

Boise is experiencing a different situation than Minnesota, but it is a similar matter that is not as severe.

When I was a young chap, still interested in skating I met Mr. Mullen while he was visiting some family where I live in Boise. I am not positive that is what is causing the crashes, I am just assuming that because of what I read from the Medical book. And the fact that other games run without a hitch.

I'm using Vista and 32 bit. I don't know if this is right, but the driver version is 8.17.11.9745.

Pretty soon I am goign to update to windows 7, so if it is an issue that can not be solved without a lot of hassle , then I will just wait and see what happens after updating the OS.

Unfortunately, I have the GTX 295, and it has caused DoD:s to become unplayable. It will crash randomly after playing 5-20 minutes with no warning. I was not able to find a guide to help stabilize DoD:s concerning my issue.

I can play other games perfectly well, so my GPU is not broken.

Is there anything I can do to resolve this?

Well, I was near the Iron Cross achievement, which is 5000 kills as an axis player. Once I reached 5000, the son of a gun reset to 0 on me. Now it is resting at about 300. When I first noticed it I just scratched my noggin and believed it was just a temporary glitch.

Oh well, I can get 4700 more kills as an Axis trooper, I don't mind.

Anyone else have this unfortunate event or have an explanation?
