but as Mr. Yoo also stated, the senate or the court justices could have put the nix on it at any time. I'm not saying the methods were right or wrong, but i do believe Jon Stewart's constant hinting and and outright finger pointing needs to go around. Just because the president has the power to start something, doesn't mean the checks and balances put in place wouldn't be able to stop it. I myself wish Stewart had given Mr. Yoo more time to talk. It seemed as if every time Yoo was getting to his point, Stewart would cut in with some question trying to turn the point of his argument into an "it's all Bushes fault" statement. The whole interview seemed to be stymied by the fact that Stewart was trying to get a statement from his guest about how wrong the person he worked for was, when it really should have been about why the decisions were made in the first place (which in my mind, Stewart didn't care about at all)
