If you are going to try to stick with the original hardware I would try either an epoxy resin or see if you can use some lead wall anchors. I'm surprised that you can't find any longer screws though. When all else fails call a plumber.

The server keeps crapping out today. I haven't been on all day but so far I count 3 times that it has died while I was playing. It is also very choppy when it is not completely dead. And vent has died twice too.

It looks like everything died today. The pub and vent. I had some pubbers message me about it so I ran the tests. I thought that it might just be my comp so I ran a ping test on yahoo.com too.
