So for some reason your computer is not downloading sprays. This is progress. There should only be a handful of reasons that your computer would act this way. In multiplayer options make sure that the option to 'allow all custom files from server' is selected Check your default value for cl_playerspraydisable Check your default value for cl_allowdownload Check your default value for sv_allowdownload Check your default value for r_decals Check your default value for mp_decals I know that you have checked some of these values before but lets get a fresh list going anyway.

Did you delete all of the files then play in the pub and have fresh files afterward?

Enter game and go to the options menu. Go to the advanced video options and report what is in the bottom right: directx levels and windows aero. Head over to the multiplayer tab and under advanced please report what the decal limit is set to. Use the following directory to find the temp folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Day of Defeat Source\dod\materials\temp. Delete everything inside of the temp folder. Then play in the pub for a little while and when you exit the game please report back if there are any files within the temp folder. If you have VTFedit installed on your comp please report if you are able to open any of the files. Hint: The files are all the sprays that were sprayed in the pub while you were connected to the server.

I would start with enabling HDR first.

According to the Steam forums the problem is due to either not having HDR mode selected in the advanced video settings or because you are missing the texture. The skybox for the map could have been pulled from either HL2 or TF2 and if you have never installed those games you would be missing the texture.

You will be trading performance for style. I would buy either a logitech or creative speaker set and have a greater listening experience without all the fluff.

You are no longer banned from Vent.

I have a G19 and it is great. It works really well with vent. Banning spammers in game is no longer such a headache. To program your G keys all you need to do is open the G19 control panel from the desktop and drag & drop keys from the list on the left. If you intend to set up macros it is a little more complicated.

People that hack don't get a week ban they get a permanent ban. Banned for hacking.

Have you been on Camp Pendleton lately? That map has custom MG sounds but they normally revert when you go back to stock maps.
