I fixed it. I changed the file names from "magoo2" to "spray." The files are located in the custom/mycustomfiles/materials/vgui/logos folder. I edited my posts to reflect the exact steps taken tonight.

I have also tried renaming "magoo2.vtf" to "spray.vtf" and "magoo2.vmf" to "spray.vmf" and replacing accordingly (done in dod/materials/vgui/logos). I deleted all instances of "spray" from my computer and when I enter game I can still spray it. I am quite puzzled.

Please exit Steam and go to the folder called C:\Program Files\Steam\ (this is the default location for a Steam installation - if you set a different installation directory, you will need to browse to it). config_default.cfg does not relate to many of my in game binds either. config.cfg holds all of my custom in game binds. I have placed my custom config (dillon's config) into dod/custom/mycustomfiles/cfg. If you delete your config.cfg file it may pull a backup from steam cloud but I'm not sure. I would try editing your config.cfg file to include the custom binds that you would like and making it read only. Then take your autoconfig file and move it to dod/custom/mycustomfiles/cfg
