There is a large part of me that thinks that this guy is just an attention seeking douche that deserves a sever beat down from the police, but another part of me thinks that the police would be more aggressive with him if what they were doing was strictly legal. I don't know enough about the law to say for sure what types of car checkpoints are legal and what the police are actually allowed to ask for.

All I want is the original original original original Star Wars on DVD. Lucas is said to have destroyed the original film reels when he incorporated THX. I could deal with having the original THX version on DVD too. I hate it that the only versions sold are the re-releases where he fucked up certain scenes.

Still having issues. Changing the mat_dxlevel worked the first time but now it seems to have stopped working. The fog on colmar is so heavy that I can't play.

I think I fixed it. I had to cycle through dx levels in game to get the errors to go away. First, I tried to set mat_dxlevel to 95. The result was no more fog but I was then also not able to see through windows. Then I tried mat_dxlevel 90 and it looks like all problems have been solved. It is strange because I think I have dx 10 on my comp.

Very exciting! I just hope it is not lame like the Die Hard and Rocky reboots were.
