If you don't want to lose your binds you can move your day of defeat source folder onto your desktop and rename it. 32-bit Win: Program files > steam > steamapps > username 64-bit Win: Program files (x86) > steam > steamapps > username Verify game cache after. If you want to do a full uninstall you need to go to the steam library and right click DODs and select delete local content.

You deleted your axis sniper skin and now you cant see the axis team? THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE! Can you remember what files and folders you deleted? You will probably need to verify the integrity of the game cache. Is your game allowing downloads from the server? To check this go to options > multiplayer > drop down window should say to allow custom files from server.

I think you could be using a bad skin. If you have any custom sniper skins, delete them.

Try to unbind the key first. ex. unbind F1 Then rebind the key. ex. bind F1 "say *Salute*" Let us know if that works for you.

Update I have figured out that the problems with the netgraph are present when I launch the game. If I switch to windowed mode, the problem with the netgraph go away. If I then switch back to full screen mode, the problem remains fixed. So at this point I know how to temporarily fix the problem. It will be a pain to have to do this every time I launch dod though. Any thoughts on a more permanent solution are welcome.

Update I think that the color errors have been fixed. Lafy had me update my video card drivers and I have not had any color errors since. The netgraph errors continue. If I run in windowed mode the netgraph seems to function properly but the screen is too dark for me to play. If I change my dxlevel to 85 or 90 it fixes it but my sniper scope zoom time gets messed with and then take an extra .5 seconds and the zoom sensitivity is reduced. SO that is not an option. Right now my netgraph shows between 0-200 fps, 0-100 ping, and some of the numbers flash and go blank and whatnot. ex. In 1 3 6. 2 k/s should read In 103 6.52 k/s or something like that. When I switch to windowed mode the numbers register correctly without any blanks and I have about 280-300 fps constant.

I have been having the same problem along with some other issues. I updated my video card drivers and that seems to have worked so far. (Thanks Lafy) I would start there Baker. Then verify the integrity of game cache. You do that by clicking on the steam icon in your tray, selecting library, right click dod, and then on the last tab you will see the option.

You did a full uninstall then reinstall? You may just have to refresh your steam.

Yes. In my last screen shot you can see that the doorway, window, and piano are a blueish gray.

Since the last steam update I have been having a lot of color errors. Also, my netgraph doesn't seem to be working properly. Before the update I didn't have any problems and I was averaging between 200-300 fps with 10 k/s on the in and out. Since the update the trim on buildings, ground rubble, sandbags, and windows are all screwed up with different colors. The netgraph lags and shows blanks where numbers should be and it shows that I'm getting between 0-200 fps. I don't think that I'm getting video lag though. If I was running at 0 fps the screen should freeze but it never does. Here are a few screen shots that will give you an idea of the errors I'm getting. I ran the CS video stress test and I was getting 300 fps. I ran a video card stress app (thanks Stone) and it said that my card was running according to specs.

The pistol mod is still down. I don't know if this is due to the mod being incompatible with the steam update or if this was overlooked. It would be great if the mod was back online for tonight's BCT.

There was another Steam update today and the servers need to be updated again. Someone in the CS will take care of it as soon as they can. Thank you for making the post.

Have you tried to verify the integrity of the game cache? Do you play with a custom hud? Insane's version 8 is in the Ordnance Office and that comes with a custom cross hair pack.

So the server doesn't show up in your game browser when you have the problem connecting, correct? If so, exit the game and see if you can see it using the steam browser (the steam icon on bottom right task bar).

Looks like you are not having any problems talking to the server so I dont know what could be wrong. I couldn't find anything related to your problem on the steam forums.
