Well it's safe to say that without Andy Whitefield it won't be the same but hopefully it's not all bad.

I work at a facility on the edge of a corporate park with no windows owned by a company in Boston with data servers full of billions of dollars worth of financial information. Retinal scanners. cameras upon cameras, card readers and numerous contingency plans such as two back up generators, backup coolers and chillers for all the servers, plus I get video feed from other sites in Tokyo, Singapore, London, etc etc. And no company run block on youtube, fb and the likes. Only thing I have to worry about is people coming up to the door and asking "What is this place?" me: "A building." person: "What does it do I mean?" me: "Keeps me sheltered." and they usually leave aggravated. Pretty laid back job, except when the security chief in Boston starts fucking with my camera's. (Security in Boston has the ability to control our cameras and the facility remotely) My other job is Supervisor/Lead installation technician in the Travelers insurance building in Hartford. Basically I supervise 3 Mexicans in doing installations during after hours.

Father's friend over at the department told me of a good one between the North Koreans and U.S. Navy. According to him, a U.S. destroyer pulled up to a North Korean trawler in pretty rough seas and attempted to board the ship. One U.S. Navy Sailor made the jump aboard the trawler before the crew of the destroyer had to pull away for fear of a collision. Apparently that U.S. sailor was rushed by a mob of North Koreans with machetes and he pulled out two pistols in an effort to keep them at bay. While killing a few North Koreans it was only a matter of time before the pistols inevitably went *Click Click* and the sailor was hacked to death by the mob. Upon seeing this, the Naval Commander of the destroyer ordered his vessel back around and rammed the trawler in half. Honestly could not tell you a time period and I'm still trying to find facts on this tale.

For anyone who thoroughly enjoyed John Carpenter's The Thing circa 1982 as much as I did, this is the prequel set 3 days before the original. Unfortunately they incorporate CGI unlike Rob Bottin's phenomenal use of animatronics and SFX from the original. What say you?
