When I put on my socks after my pants I have to pull up my pant legs to pull up my socks, so I occasionally have the good sense to put on my socks first and it got me wondering which is the more common order?

We're buying my cousin a shotgun as a gift for his bachelor party, it will be used for trap shooting. We looked at over/under's, but they're a little too expensive for a nice one, so we've decided to go with a pump. These are the 3 we're discussing. Which one do you think is the superior firearm? Mossberg 500 Remington 870 Winchester SXP Field Also, do you think 12 gauge is worth the extra recoil? I know my shoulder gets more beat up after an afternoon firing 12 than 20, and I'm not sure that I see any benefit in trap shooting with a 12 gauge. If he decided to go hunting do you think the 12 gauge is significantly more useful?

The canons are nice too, but the mirrorless sonys are more compact and I think you get a little more camera for your money. For 2 grand I don't know if I'd rather the Canon 6D or the Sony A7, but for $700 I think the A6000 is nicer than the T5i, though I'm sure some people would go the other way.
