I'm leaning towards NROTC, just so that I can show up as a 2ndLt. and take command of a tank

He said that I also have to be a senior (I'm a Junior). I'm gonna talk to the school counselor and see when he's scheduled to come to the cafeteria to see if I can squeeze any info about NROTC vs GED enlistment

I emailed my local recruiting office on Saturday looking for some info on paygrades and tuition. I'm 17. The recruitment office just called me, and they said I have to be 18 to make the commitment. And basically hung up after I said I want to enlist in active duty. Now I have to go talk to the same person when they come to my school during lunch (awkward).

"If they're not doing their jobs, we certainly can't do ours (with the spotlight constantly on infantry battalions)... They wouldn't be able to go on very long without the hard work across the combat logistics elements." Even though our unit isn't completely dependent of our logistics department, the work we do gives us a strategic advantage over others. To those who spend quality time scrutinizing every map looking for footholds and choke points and hiding spots and un-peekable angles etc.; to those who develop sound map strategies and call-outs: when those tactics are used in official realisms, we have an unbelievable edge over our enemies. When we can coordinate efficiently and quickly as a team and get kills... That's what makes us #1. Every office in the unit adds a little bit of an official, professional air to our image as a whole. Even though, yes, DoDS is just a game, if you're in Logistics, you're vital. I personally spend a lot of time with my "work," and I know and expect that everyone else does, too. Just wanted to post this to say thank you to the fellow hard workers in logistics and step it up to the slackers (if any).

Please. I'm more worried about when the covenant show up with plasma weaponry.

115 mph wind gusts in Dover. Lost power when the storm hit and I just got it back. If I see Sandy on the streets I'm slapping the shit out of her

So my neighbor knocks on my door and tells me I have to clean up a dog's mess in his yard. I said "Nope" and closed the door. Mission accomplished.
