  1. SpringField Caliber .30-03 Springfield; .30-06 Springfield Effective Range 656 yd Feed System 5 round stripper clip Number Manufactured N/A They are still being produced this day. (Couldn't find an accurate number in recent years) Mauser Kar 98k Caliber 8x57mm IS/7.92×57mm IS Effective Range 550 yd Feed System 5-round stripper clip Number Manufactured 14,643,260 Rules: 1. DO NOT SPEAK OF ANY OTHER WEAPON VARIENT/MODEL! ONLY THESE TWO 2. IF YOU CAN'T READ AND DO POST ANYTHING ABOUT ANY OTHER WEAPON/MODEL VARIENT OR COMPARE IT TO OTHER WEAPONS YOUR OPINION WILL NOT COUNT AND WILL BE RULED OUT! My Ruling Mauser Kar 98k The reason i go for the Mauser Kar 98k is simply because of the bolt system on this baby. the throwback of the bolt is quick fast and easy. not to mention this gun is the basis of all of today's hunting rifles. and it was easy to field strip clean and re-assemble. not to mention i love some 8mm a bit bigger than the 30-06. Also the iron sight of this rifle is simply amazing. i love it, it's my favorite iron sight ever more preferable than the Spring Field 1903's.
  2. My apologies, i actually meant Red Orchestra 2, not RO2: Heros of stalingrad lol
  3. As some people like these weapons, i have decided to try to make this a daily thing starting with ALL weapons in WWII (Making sure it's a fair debate of course). But i will try my BEST to make them fair i will try to cover the range of different fire arms includeing pistols, Sub-Machine guns, Rifles, Semi-Autos, Machine Guns, Etc. But i will not prolly go back to the days of flintlocks because those really relied on who had the better aim and who had the faster reload. But please give me feedback on this guys i don't mind doing this daily weekly or monthy. it's really up to you. I enjoy doing this since most of these weapons i have had a fair share of experience with (Except Machine Guns)
  4. Thompson Service 1938-1971 Caliber .45 ACP Effective Range 160 ft Feed System 20-100 round Stick/Box magazine Number Manufactured 1,700,000 approx. MP-40 Service 1939-Present (In some countrys) Caliber 9x19mm Parabellum Effective Range 150-200 m Feed System 32-round detachable box magazine or 64-round with dual magazines Number Manufactured Aprox 1 Million RULES: 1. DO NOT EVER REFER TO ANY OTHER WEAPON BESIDES THE MP-40 AND THOMPSON ONLY THOSE 2! 1a. If you do refer to ANY other MODEL or VARIENT you arguement on that gun is USELESS and everyone will ignore it and WILL not rebuttle it! Now give this one hell of a debate We got ourselves here America's Thompson against the Third Reich's MY RULING MP-40 due to the skeletal stock. (ease to use at different distances) Though the Thompson got the MP40 beat in caliber the MP40 is VERY relaible to me. Though i have not shot the Thompson as much i do with the MP40. i would have to say the muzzle climb is too quick on the thompson and more controllable on the MP40. the only downside i had with the Thompson was cleaning process it seemed a bit harder to field strip and clean than the MP-40 was too me. also i have to say i like the iron sights more on the MP-40 than i did of the Thompson.
  5. the G43 is actually a great rifle i use to own it along with my father but we sold it a year ago for some extra cash to get our SVT-40. I have to say it's an excellent weapon besides it's 10 round detachable box magazine. that toke a bit longer than the M1 Garands en bloc clip to reload. but the 8mm IS when it hits. you are going to be seriously injured or dead instantly. this round has always pleased me along with the M1 Garand.
  6. You're right Luna. I want you people to know when you do post something that is against those 2 simple rules your argument on whatever rifle you think is better is gone everyone should ignore it and not rebuttle that persons arguement or final say to it.
  7. This are the steps to me temporarily fixing it. 1. Restart Computer 2. Restart Internet 3. Restart Computer/Internet at same time 4. Hope To be honest i fixed it to where i can connect to the server now. but i still can not add our Public server to my Favorites and KEEP it their. so it was sorta fixed.
  8. Nvm, i have found the solution to the problem, it has been fixed.
  9. After testing some new sounds i got for my weapons and repeatedly opening and closing DOD:S to test them. For some reason i can not connect to the server. It doesn't even show up in my favorites no more and when i find it and try auto connect till i join i will sit there and NEVER join at this moment 7 slots opened and all were taking by someone and I've been waiting HOURS to play in the server and no matter how long the wait is it will not connect me to the server i don't even get an attempt to it. seems like i can wait for hours but others can join before me even though i have it selected to join as soon as a slot is available. how can i fix this?
  10. M1 Garand Service 1936-1957 (Used past this in the Vietnam War but not a whole bunch) Caliber .30-06 Springfield Effective Range 440 Yards Feed System 8 round "En Bloc" Clip Number Manufactured Aprox 6.25 million Gewehr 43 Service 1943-1945 Caliber 8x57mm IS Effective Range 500m Feed System 10-round detachable box magazine Number Manufactured 402,713 So what we got ourselves here is America's M1 Garand vs Hitlers Garand Which is BETTER (In your OWN opinion) and WHY Rules: 1. Talk only about THESE 2 WEAPONS 2. NEVER refer to any other model/varient. My Ruling: I would have to go for the Good ole' M1 Garand, why? Because simply (IMO) it is much eaiser to clean and the En Bloc clip is easier to load instead of the 10 round detachable box magazine of the G43, Though the G43 has a bigger round, i will always go for the M1 Garand because 30-06 has never failed me at the firing range, Unlike the Gewehr 43, beautiful weapon but if not taken care properly you will have more issues with the operating rod cracking more than the M1 Garand (Though anyone who owns a gun should KNOW to clean it maybe a hour after useing it NEVER the next day or couple of days that just shows your not taking care of your gun properly)

    M16 vs AK-47

    M16 vs AK-47

ive seen that episode on history lock and load with Lee Ermey, btw ive always prefered the m16 and all its variants m4a1 for example since cs times i dont know why just happened to be like that and ofc the m416/hk416 one of the newer variants its as reliable as ak-47 in most challenges and about the under barrel attachments like the m203 for the m16 and the gp-25 for ak-47 and the ak is nearly inpossible in fully automatic fire because of the 7.62 round and the m16 has a higher fire rate so the newer versions m16a4 is 3 round burst or semi auto because the soldiers vaste to much ammo sorry for more weapons just couldnt help it Anderson, rules say ONLY THOSE 2 WEAPONS DO NOT REFER TO ANY OTHER WEAPON VARIENT/ MODEL ONLY THOSE 2!!!

    M16 vs AK-47

Objects of this debate. Rules are Simple Rules: 1. debate only about there 2 rifles 2. Give one hell of a debate for which rifle you think it better and WHY My Ruling: I own an AK-47 and i will have to say i will go for this rifle over my fathers M16, for reliability purposes and bigger Caliber, Easier to field stripe and it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to get this baby to jam.
