I got really excited to see a football/soccer related post under sports for once, and it had to be about the dark side of the sport

It really ruins the sport. I don't understand how this Euro tournament is going to work, let alone the World Cup in Russia in 2018... I know Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Joleon Lescott (both of England) said their families aren't going for fear of abuse, and Italy's Mario Balotelli said he'll walk off the pitch if there's any racism directed at him. It's ridiculous. Even in places where the racism/fascism isn't that bad, the homophobia is rampant too. Two high profile English players have committed suicide in the past 20 years because of it, and there are virtually no efforts to do anything about that.

Top Gear is fantastic, and Graham Norton's great too. I used to love Jonathan Ross before they took him off, and I've never watched Skins for whatever reason. Another good talk/game show is Never Mind the Buzzcocks

So, in 10 days I'll be going over to England for a bit, and I'm a little apprehensive. In the back of my mind, there's an ominous thought that perhaps my rosy colored dream of what England is will be shattered by the humdrum reality of it all. In my mind, I love almost everything about England: the culture, the sport, even the weather (I'm a rainy-day kind of guy). But I worry that this might be the product of watching way too many British sitcoms/talk shows/football and that it might not be everything I think it is. I haven't been there since I was 12, but I loved every minute then. Anyway, I originally wanted to make a thread about British shows I love, to see if anybody else out there likes them too. 1. Green Wing - Probably my favorite show of all time, it's an absurdist parody of the Hospital soap, very out there but also the most I've laughed at a show in a very long time. Check it out if you like Scrubs, but feel guilty about it. Here if you're in the U.S. or here if you're anywhere else. 2. Spaced - Best known in the U.S. for launching Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Star Trek) into the limelight, Spaced is a sitcom about two flatmates in London, a comic artist and a writer, who have to pretend to be married to keep their flat. Like all Edgar Wright projects (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz), it's characterized by flashy edits, fast paced wit, and plenty of nerd-culture. Here or here 3. The Mighty Boosh - A very surreal, fantastic comedy about two zookeepers, played by Noel Fielding and Julian Baratt, who go on adventures with a shaman (witch doctor) named Naboo and Bollo the talking gorilla. Really weird, but very funny, the show has a cult following and most of the episodes are on youtube. 4. Peep Show - Following the pattern of shows that feature a comic duo playing off each other, Peep Show is a sitcom about two extremely different flatmates and their comic misadventures, slogging through the dull reality of middle class life. Mitchell and Webb, who also have their own sketch show, are both extremely funny individuals, and work together hilariously. Here or here. 5. The inbetweeners - A coming-of-age comedy of sorts, the Inbetweeners follows four socially awkward teenagers as they try to sort out the ups and downs of being young adult men in the 21st century. They manage to fuck up basically everything they do and it's relentlessly funny. Most of it's on , but they also came out with a movie. Those are my top 5, off the top of my head. Some others that are good are: The IT Crowd (SO GOOD) Black Books The Office (slower paced, more poignant, and often funnier than the US version) Doctor Who (not a comedy, strictly speaking) Big Train Coupling

Just got an authenticator, got hacked within three days of playing the game and I was only playing in closed games, not on public servers. Recovered my account within 12 hours and didn't lose anything, except for like 4k gold.

I not only play my games on a laptop, I play them on a Mac! And for the most part the games I want to play work fine. Overheating can be a problem with any laptop, so it's not a bad idea to get an external fan or a laptop cooler. I've got one by Tangus that works fine, looks a bit like this Most laptops have the option of disabling the trackpad. If not, attaching an USB keyboard can help. I have a wired mouse, and my computer has an option where whenever I plug it into the USB, the trackpad is disabled automatically. I think you'll probably be fine

I know I'm not MP, but it's Portuguese not Spanish "The guys who were TKing me here had already been banned from a server in my country for being unreasonable and arrogant, which is why they were chasing me during 4 or 5 maps, intentionally TKing me. I recorded 7 short demos, all with Status. They are two players: the first is called "ambreja" or "mongolian" and the second "Pryme.com." I sincerely hope that the two are permanently banned from the 1st MRB server, and I'm leaving a link to the demos and some screen caps of status when he was TKing so there's no shadow of a doubt about the proof. At one point in the game the bastard asked that I lift his ban on my server, but there's more than 12 tks over 2 maps that I recorded and "ambreja" was even kicked from the server but he rejoined and continued TKing me sporadically for which he was banned for 1440 minutes, much too little in my opinion. Those two deserve a permaban, neither deserve to play on the 1st mrb server. Pardon my google translate english..."

I just started a Demon Hunter last night with my friend playing Witch Doctor. Any class where your basic attack is throwing spiders at people is pretty hilarious. Up until now I've been playing Monk and Mage and I feel like the Monk is a pretty easy class to play, but I don't get tired of those 15-16 kill mighty blows haha.
