I finally made it into a Tate video!!!! This is an honor and a privilege. I would like to thank my parents, who kept me away from playing videogames long enough for me to suck at them, Tate for making the video, and DoD:S for kicking my ass constantly. When I hear Captain Giraffe talk...

He's the best of all time. I grew up watching movies of Pele and Maradona and watched Zidane throughout his career, and Ronaldinho, Romario, Ronaldo. None of them could ever do what he does. It's not just the volume of goals, he's incredibly intelligent on the ball, seeing runs, making runs happen. He doesn't even need to win a world cup to make his point, but I think he will next year anyway.

Hey all you nordmenn and svenska, I'm thinking about going up to Sweden or Norway for a long weekend, probably in April. I'm wondering where I should go, and if you guys want to meet up. There are really cheap flights from London to Stockholm if any of you are near there, and also relatively cheap flights to Oslo. Let me know if you guys are near either of those places and want to hang out/if I can sleep on your couch/doghouse/giraffe house. For those of you who haven't been around here long, I promise I'm not an ax murderer, and I can prove that I'm a mostly normal/upstanding person. FOR NORWAY!!! (and Swedennn, but not as much)

It'll always be people clashing, because this is a topic that some people take extremely personally. If you treat this rationally, you come to the realization that these sides will never agree and most likely nothing is going to change the state of gun control in the United States. The law is the law, and it is the duty of law enforcement to uphold those laws; whether they personally believe them to be just or not. If they don't, the only thing for them is to leave the force, as Alvarez did, not to pick and choose which laws they enforce. In America, you can disobey laws you think are unjust, but only if you are willing to serve the punishment. I think a fair amount of gun control opponents would rather "fight" the government than engage in peaceful civil disobedience, which is why I have trouble respecting them or their views. The leaders of the civil rights movement who we respect today, and who fundamentally changed our country for the better didn't do it by gunning down cops, or advocating violence, they did it through peaceful protest, and by suffering unjust punishment for their beliefs. That's why this kind of rhetoric, of "oath keeping" and "fighting the government" irks me.

That's great Vicari! I'm living in London, but I'm from Missouri and I'll be back there this summer. I'm planning on working all summer to pay for recording, but my sister lives up in Brooklyn so I might be able to make it down. $450 seems pretty reasonable

I've got a couple recordings on bandcamp now that you can grab for free. Neither of them are super high quality, I just wanted to get my music out there. When I get back home in the summer I'll be recording at a studio, but these recordings aren't terrible. BANDCAMP!
