Crossing the border between the US and Canada (to visit family), I had only once had a border guard check the contents of my vehicle and with that, didn't check any containers, compartments, or anything. Perhaps it was "the luck of the draw", though it seems to be a more common thing.

I had banned him last night for 1 week on the terms of intentional team killing (was deliberately seeking out and killing specific team members), however, after checking our SourceBans page I noticed he has been banned on 3 separate occasions (including last night) from our server for the exact same thing, resulting in both a 10 hour ban, and a 1 week ban. I believe the website is purely statistical (with current statistics, ie. average birth/mortality rate), though a stunning, and maybe disturbing representation of the debt crisis. Not exactly accurate, but at the same time, not at all incorrect.

I had banned him a few days ago for the exact same reason. Clearly intending to cause problems in our server.

I would assume that your computer had shut down before the BIOS update was complete. Generally, if your computer is shut off before the BIOS update can be finished, it essentially "bricks" your computer, producing the exact effects you described. Imagine what happens when you corrupt a file on your computer. In this case, that file (figuratively, of course) is your computer. Perhaps some insight into why this happened. Regardless, when you return it, I don't suggest you tell them anything about a BIOS update (As long as they don't ask), or anything else. Depending on BestBuy's return policy, that information could void your agreement there.
