  1. Haha! This video is awesome! 0:54 is the best part!
  2. Verify that the microphone is plugged in all the way. The plug and the port where it goes are normally both coloured pink. The information you have provided thus far would lead me to believe it is either the microphone on the headset that is broken, or the 3.5 mm jack on your computer. To narrow it down, does your computer have another microphone port in it? Often there is one on the front panel, and also one on the back. Plug the microphone into whichever one you haven't been using to this point, then try to configure it as stated earlier (via the control panel). If that does not work, I would suggest looking into replacing the microphone/headset. Do you still have your old computer? If so, plug in your headset and see if the microphone still works there.
  3. Can provide an answer to this question? This sounds like a driver issue, and I would like to verify you are using the correct driver. (assuming Windows 7) How did you verify you had drivers installed? If you did it via device manager, you may not have the most up-to-date driver, and should be checking out the manufacturers website. If you pull up device manager, verify that there is no heading called "other devices" in the list, and all headings should not have a yellow warning symbol, as these could represent issues with drivers. only way i really verified it was the fact that when i plugged it in, (its a turtle beach headset, umm actuall plugs not usb ((if that makes sense)) and i could use it no problem then i switched towers and suddenly dods doesnt think i have a button binded to it, when i key talk the icon doesnt show up like the key was activated. i assume this problem is only with dods as when i hop into your vent channel i can hear the mic key noise being made but well noone ever respondes to my inquires even when i was in the old tower lol, also when i try to configure my mic no voice is picked up, im assuming that means the mic plug itself is incorrect and not software but i am not that tech inclined so i could be wrong Please tell me what headset you have. So your mic wasn't working on the old computer either?

  5. Did the end-user get a chance to go over the suggestions as of yet?
  6. Has there been any progress on this issue since last comment?
  7. What is the model number or info for the mic in question?
  8. Almost every school in the division I am currently working for contain asbestos in floor tiles and walls. Removing it would be a greater risk than leaving it where it is, and thus we are not required to remove it. Certain staff members receive a training course on handling asbestos (which consists of telling people not to handle asbestos). Holland, you should be safe if it is tiles and in the walls. The danger with asbestos is if it is friable. Friable asbestos is product that releases its fibers in the air and thus can be inhaled into the lungs. This is the case with pipe and duct insulation, especially when it gets old and gets wet and then dries out. Having it in the walls with drywall or plaster over it is safe as long as it is not disturbed. If renovations are done they have to follow strict guidelines for its removal. The floor tiles pose no risk even while scraping them up to replace the floor due to the tiles are hard and they font disburse the fiber material when breaking. I used to deal with this while working for a major insurance carrier in the later 1990's and early 2000's. JP At no point did I imply it was a threat. However, unlike what Armstrong said, it is not a requirement to remove it wherever it is found, and in fact is quite common in buildings here.
  9. Only the first demo works, the others are crashing. However, in what I can see in the first demo, I'd feel this is absolutely conclusive of hacking. Ban confirmed.

  11. Until we resolve the issue, don't direct people to the "listed rules". Inform the person of the rule they are breaking and have it serve as a warning. We don't have any obscure rules in our server, so it shouldn't pose any issue. If that individual continues or ignored your warning, then a kick or ban may be given.
  12. Hello. You were banned from our servers as part of a blanket-protocol for all members of your unit. We do not allow members of the 6th RB to play in our servers while wearing 6th RB tags. If there are any questions or concerns regarding this policy, you should bring them to the command staff of the 6th RB. Your ban has been lifted from our server, however note the above policy. If you join our server wearing 6th RB tags, you will be asked to remove them or leave. Failure to comply will result in reinstatement of the ban. Respectfully, 1stLt. N. Holland
  13. What is the error it is giving you when enabling the boost?
  14. Try Lafy's suggestion by switching through resolutions via the monitor menu (if available). Otherwise, it might be worth opening up your computer and giving the motherboard a quick check for bulging/leaking capacitors. Does your motherboard have onboard graphics capabilities? If so, pull your graphics card out, and plug the monitors into the motherboard to see if this problem persists.
