  1. These two are great Jones.

I'm very seriously thinking about buying a Winchester SXP Waterfowl to go hunting ducks and geese this fall.

What do you guys think of this shotgun? Beign that my budget is 500$ or less it's the one that retained my attention the most. No money for a semi-auto. I already tried shouldering it at the store and highly prefered it to the way the Benelli Nova would shoulder. I shot my roomate's Remington 870 a few times and found it ok but the new ones are a hundred dollar more expensive than last year and several people told me that they are not as good as they used to be so the 870 is not even an option for me.

  2. Something great just happenned. I opened this post and a ban request post at the same time but on Cannon's answer to the ban request. So here's what I thought was Cannon's greetings to Imp for his birthday :

    Banned him for a day.

I laughed for 2 minutes before understanding what was happening!

    Happy birthday Imp!!!

  3. THAT is where that kind of bullshit leads. I hope no one in the 1st MRB will ever do or has ever done that to anyone. The kid's got what he deserved for wasting so much money and manpower so many times.

EDIT: It's even worse that the father of the guy who got "swatted" in that story got shot at and severly injured by the SWAT team.

  4. Here's Quarterman explaining how he is a Sergeant Major. Listen carefully, you'll laugh for sure.

Basically these are two marines who noticed that guy at funerals and they noticed that something was wrong with him, starting with the fact that he was wearing both ribbons and medals of the same award. Also that he was obviously a Sergeant Major but he had infantry officer's badges on his uniform. These and a lot of other irregularities that you are about to see.

  5. Lastly, I have a WWI Lee-Enfield No. 1 MK III but it was re-appropriated as a Rifle Grenade Launcher in WWII so it has some extreme reinforcements on it, wire wrappings and some thick bolts through the stock. It's really heavy but that makes shooting it so much easier, not to mention it looks badass with all the reinforcement modifications.

Yama, I'd be interested to see some pictures of your Lee-Enfield. I own one too and shot it for the first time this week-end. It is so much fun to shoot!! Mine is a 1944 No.4 MK I and it has been modified as a "sporter" so some wood has been removed. Because of that I got it pretty cheap but it increases the recoil quite a lot. I'll be hunting deers and probably mooses too with it this next season. It has a scope mounted on but I can still unscrew it and use the original iron sight and the millimetric adjustable one (switched simply by flipping it with the thumb). I really love that rifle so Lloyd I'd recommend something similar to you when you are to the point where you'll buy a real rifle.

    Here is mine :
