  1. Your card will definitely run Rome II, just not on max settings. What kind of processor do you have? If you want to play it with the highest settings possible you would probably need a higher level 7000 series card or something like a Nvidia 680. But if you just want to play it then you'll be good with he card you have.
  2. Ya this is just a scaling issue, it's quite common with HDMI connected monitors and won't require you to buy anything else. Howto fix: 1. Open your catalyst control center. To do this you can search for it in your start menu or just right click your desktop and click open catalyst control center. 2. Once it loads select the tab on the left titled "My Digital Flat-Panels". 3. Within that tab then select "Scaling Options (Digital Flat-Panel)". 4. There you should see a slide bar under "Scaling Options" that goes from underscan to overscan. Move that slide bar all the way to the right (overscan) and the value should read 0%. 5. Click apply and close the catalyst control center. This should eliminate the bar around your monitor, if not let me know and I'll look into it. As for your video card, a 6800 is one of the upper level cards (not quite top of the line) from the Radeon 6000 series. They have since released their 7000 series which has more power than your card. However, yours is still more than good for most games from the last couple years with max settings and should take on the newer games with medium settings no problem. I currently run a 6770 and I am pretty happy with it.
  3. Are you connecting your monitor with a HDMI cable? If so it may be a scaling issue. Reply back with the answer to that first question and with which kind of video card you have (nvidia/amd).
  4. Vice is premiering a new documentary TV show on HBO starting April 6th. Check out their extended trailer for the show, it's gonna be sick.
  5. I'd say you have a good civil case. If you agreed in writing on a 30 day warranty and it failed in 1 week and then again 1 week after the seller claimed to have fixed it totaling 14 days and you can document the damage to the scooter. In civil court all you need to prove is that you have met the terms of the warranty clause of your contract and that you have a reasonable expectation that you were buying a working scooter (i.e. it was advertised to you as a fully functional scooter before you bought it). Many attorneys will do a free meeting with you to discuss your case before they require a retainer payment so I'd suggest looking around for a local reputable lawyer and seeing if they'd meet you free of charge and give you a better idea of your options going forward.

  8. Not sure if it is in Dillon's version here but make sure you add a launch option for DoD:S called "exec autoexec.cfg" (with no quotes) so that you do not have to manually exec the file every time you launch. To do this goto your Steam library and right click Day of Defeat Source, next scroll down to properties and click on it, then there is a section for set launch options click that, and type: exec autoexec.cfg and you won't have to worry about making sure it launches properly. You can check in console if you wish, I believe Dillon added a confirmation line that reads something like "you have successfully loaded Dillon's kick-ass config, you are forever his bitch". It would be at the top of your console.
  9. Smart move documenting and uploading evidence of this to their advertised "prank channel" on youtube. Wouldn't be surprised if they get fucked hard for these. That said if one of those fuckers tried that shit at my grocery store they would be forced to pay for the gallons and "asked" not to come back.
  10. Are you currently using and autoexec.cfg or a custom config file of some form or are you just running a stock config? If so please post back with a link to it/copy and paste it into a quote box.
  11. This. I might also add that this extends to shows and ideas that are more creative/less popular that non-premium channels like FX and AMC would consider less profitable. They also will go much further in depth to almost any show of theirs that I've seen and they have the budget to back it up.
