  1. Lol 1:43: "watch again as the thieves show skilled practice at the art of bringing down that plate glass door" A bit of a stretch don't ya think ABC 6 news lol. I figured those would have the laptop locks on them like the apple store near my house does lol. Guess not there, way to fail Apple...
  2. I'm down man. Payday's the shit

  5. Good to have you Little!
  6. Are you still planning on the new computer? If so please respond back with your monitor resolution and the best comprehensive list you can think of containing what you desire your new rig to be able to do (games you like to play, video editing/format conversion, etc..). Also is this something you'd like to build yourself? If so let us know so we can start putting together a list of parts to consider. If not we can look for the best per-built system for your needs (although i really suggest the first option as it is cheaper and much easier than it seems).
  7. as for your .cfg file problem can you look through your config and your autoexec (if you have one) and find r_drawmodeldecals and tell me whether it is set to 0 or 1.
  8. All of these are defiantly things to consider. Post your system specs if you don't know whats worth saving. Also, do you have any interest in building the rig yourself? It would save time and for $900 you could build a crazy good system.
  9. Logitech makes great gaming mice, cant go wrong with a G500. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...#scrollFullInfo
  10. Just to clarify do you mean that you shoot at someone once and see 9 blood splatters, or do you shoot at someone several times and see several blood splatters but only have ended up hitting them once?
  11. Ok so your mobo model is: Foxconn A7VMX-K That board only has a PCI e x16 slot which is why your current card (is a PCI e 2.0 x16 card) works with no problems. Although because your motherboard only has the 1.0 slot any card higher than 2.0 (2.1, 3.0) will most likely not work. This leaves you with 2 main options as i see it: 1. Buy a GPU that is also a 2.0 slot but newer and better than your current. 2. Buy an even newer card than option 1 (since most all even fairly new cards are 2.1 or higher now) as well as a new motherboard that has a PCI e 2.0 x16 slot instead of the 1.0 slot you currently have After some browsing on newegg (for reference purposes, we can pick a different vendor once the card is chosen) i have found that all the AMD Radeon HD 6000 and 7000 series are 2.1 or higher, but there are several Nvidia GeForce GTX 500 that are 2.0 cards and would work on your current motherboard as well as deliver a dramatic performance difference over your current GPU. The easiest option would most likely be to go with one of the GTX 500 cards (less invasive than a new mobo installation) I recommend: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130625 Its a solid card with a good rep and is worlds away from your current GPU's specs as well as its decently priced at $130 Something else to keep in mind is your 350W power supply. You will need to upgrade to at least 450W or more to run the new card, unlike the GPU though finding a new PSU with the right watts will be easy and can be done for around $50.
  12. I'd start first with your desired price range and the model of your motherboard. If you dont know where to find it post the make and model of your computer (ex: HP Pavilion xxx or Dell Inspiron xxx or other make and model). After that it will be easy to help find the right card.
  13. I've edited my post to include a second code try it before the first one I posted. As well as it would be helpful to know if you have a map outline thats just grey, like on a custom map that has no minimap made for it, or if there is nothing there at all. Also if Marsden can remember the general area that the code he had you enter was intended to effect it could help narrow down the source of the problem.
  14. Do you have any map at all? What happens when you press the M key to toggle the map? Can you see the fullscreen map or do you not have access to any map at all? Try imputing these commands: overview_alpha 1 <----- Try First overview_mode 1 <----- Try Second If this does nothing let me know as well as respond with info on whether or not you can toggle to fullscreen map and we can attempt to narrow down the issue.
  15. Ya i DL'd this a few days ago, seems to have potential.
  16. Here is a helpful site where you can compare your current GPU to others and chart the rise in FPS you will get. http://www.graphicscardbenchmarks.com/page/fps As far as picking a card that will work with your computer you'll need to post your motherboard specs in order to know what PCI e slots you have, (generally all PCI e generations are backwards compatible with each other but older mobos sometimes wont have a BIOS update for newer card slots) but most likely you'll do fine with any 2.0 or 2.1 slot card. Most any card you decide to get should be available from a UK based distributor such as the sites you listed.
  17. Macro-economically speaking really only 3 things will cause long-term GDP growth (economic expansion): An increase in PK (physical capital) or the amount of materials available to implement into the economy (more machines, more factories, etc...). An increase in A (technological innovation) or the level of tech available to be used in production (new more efficient ways to produce). Or an increase in HK (human capital) or level to which people can utilize their educations to facilitate economic growth. So technically when speaking about macroeconomic long term growth education is one of the most important/useful things an economy could utilize aside from top of the line tech and abundant resources.
