Resolved - Keeps changing to low sensitivty in game
T. Brown 1st MRB replied to Quarterman 1st MRB's question in Closed Tickets
I'm assuming you mean G500, not 6500 : ) http://forums.logitech.com/t5/G-series-Gam...igh/td-p/426347 Check that out. It looks like the settings in the OS and the mouse's internal settings combat with each other causing problems (in another area of the forums here, your exact problem was described by a user and the mods referenced the above thread). It looks like one possible fix is: What most people seem to agree on is that it requires some fiddling once you do this though, so keep that in mind. -
Resolved - DOD:S issues after getting a new PC
T. Brown 1st MRB replied to Arevicci's question in Closed Tickets
Can you tell us the specs of your new computer? Off the top of my head, I'd guess at a driver problem with graphics card, but knowing all the specs will make it easier to weed out other possible problems. -

http://www.skyandtelescope.com/observing/h...-187930541.html It's not as bright as we all had hoped, but it's still visible with the naked eye (and maybe some binoculars). You can see in the little image where to look (southern hemisphere), but here's a groovy picture, slightly exaggerated with a long exposure, to help demonstrate what it looks like. Since it's a new comet, this being the first time it's warmed by the sun, it'll get sliiiightly brighter as the days progress. Should be interesting to watch it over the next 20 or so days

Unban Request - T3|Flash
T. Brown 1st MRB replied to t3-flash's topic in Military Police Archives - DoD:S
Try connecting to the server through your console; open up console (the ~ key) and type connect 208.167.243.207:27015 An officer will have to take a closer look if this does not work, but I cannot find any ban for you in SourceBans or VAC either. -
Probably should have mentioned that I tried that and made sure the settings were to English (American), and even made it something else and then switched back to English (American)...yet still saying color is spelled wrong. Did not try it in firefox yet. However, I just got an idea. I do have a add-on/plugin dictionary and spell-checker thing, I wonder if that is the source! Am going to fiddle with that and see what happens, will report back momentarily. [edit] disabled the extension, still trying to correct color. DANGIT. [edit2] Changed the setting on Firefox, then back to English (American) and that fixed it. Chrome, however, still hates freedom, so at least the problem is a little more isolated now, appears just to be Chrome-related. [edit3] FIXED IT. Had to mark the option in the Language settings to "Use this language for spell-checking", even though it appeared to already have been marked. Thanks Holland! Problem solved.

Name: Tim Brown Rank: GySgt. Type of issue: Not sure Brief Description of Issue: Recently, my browser (Chrome) has been somehow switched to England English spell-check, so that words like "color" will be marked as spelled incorrectly, whereas colour is right. This problem occurs in any website on Chrome and Firefox, but NOT in other word-processing programs like Word/Excel. I did not make any changes to any Language in any places, so I'm a bit confused as to where this came from or why it has just suddenly become like this. It isn't a huge issue since my writing programs were not affected, but it is a slight nuisance. Anyone experiencing this as well (thinking maybe an update did this, although that wouldn't explain why Firefox is affected too)? Or anyone have any ideas on either how to fix it, or more importantly, what could have happened that caused this? In return for your help, I will buy you the steam game Magical Hedgehog 5: Hedgehogs in Manhattan. This latest game in the Hedgehog series includes full hedgehog-on-hedgehog intercourse, as well as a mini-game where you get to manually collect the semen from a hedgehog in heat. Fun for all ages. ***Medical Supply Staff ONLY Below this line*** Current Status: (Researching, Pending Reply, Resolved, Unresolved) Main Technician: Supporting Technician:

Some important info regarding this event: This was a meteorite, NOT AN THE ASTEROID DA14.This impact event (Yes it has impacted, or rather a piece of it impacted). IS NOT RELATED TO DA14. DA14 is the asteroid scheduled to pass over Earth later today. The video going around of what appears to be a giant impact crater is fake. It is a video of a natural gas vent that is on fire called Derweze.Russia did not intercept the meteor with *anti-air anything. More info coming here: http://www.reddit.com/r/askscience/comment..._be_related_to/ Source: Phil Plait is a very respected phD holding astronomer and has been blogging about astronomy for years. 8:10 GMT: Oleg Malkov, an aerospace scientist at Moscow State University, told Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper that the meteorite went undetected by space scanners, likely because it was coming from the direction of the Sun. "We can only register stones coming from the direction of the night sky," he explained. Malkov confirmed that the meteor shower in the Urals was not connected to the 2012DA14 asteroid that will approach Earth in a few hours. ***VOLUME WARNING*** This is a fairly high quality video depicting either a sonic boom from its high speed of atmospheric entry, OR a result of it exploding HIGH up in the atmosphere (this is most likely the case due to the differential propagating sound taking that long to reach those just below the streak, signifying an explosion high in the atmosphere that would take a bit of time to reach us.

http://www.cdc.gov/nceh/vsp/surv/gilist.htm#2012 Link is to the Vessel Sanitation Program of the CDC (which I worked for at one point in my life). Essentially, the media just LOVES to blow up the story. You don't hear about all the cruise ships that went without a hitch (of which 97% of them do). It's sad; cruises are really a lot of fun, good way to sample a wide variety of locations on a budget, and Gardner's kinda right...singles love it. Something in the salt air brings out the horniness of people, man and woman alike. There are extremely strict protocols in place to avoid illnesses, for obvious reasons. However, like anything else in the world, they aren't perfect and never will be.
