hahah I'm not sure I'll be quite around that area (though I've always wanted to visit). So far, all I know is that I'll be in London the first day, then I have about a week, maybe two, of just traveling around aimlessly with no family or friends to accompany me. While I'm on the subject though, if you all have any places you think I just have to visit while I'm there, feel free to chime in! I've been all over Asia, but never anywhere around Europe.

I do not know if it is just me, but ever since I joined the forums, none of the PM's I have sent out have ever been saved. Is this for everyone? I assume if so, it would have been brought up before, but I searched and could find no answer so I figured I'd ask. If so, any idea why? Any way to fix it? (The topic description is just so you can learn something today. Enjoy)

Only one that is named is the 1st, "F-Ring". I am fighting that title though; the story is not very sci-fi (F-ring, in case you didn't know, is the outermost ring of Saturn) but the publishers wanted to have that spin on it. Blech. The others have yet to be named, but I'm all up for suggestions on the old folks death pool one!

Make sure you aren't binding it to a default key; I've noticed those sometimes disappear. Also make sure your config.cfg file is checked read-only after you add it; it'll reset everytime you close DOD.

damn, that should run DODS beautifully : \ So config, hardware are out. Have you noticed any problems in any other games? Have you noticed it on servers closer to Sweden? Euro servers and whatnot? Or is it isolated to U.S. servers only? Does Reis have any issues that are remotely similar?

The first one will be out in about 2 months; it is tentatively called F-ring ( i HATE the title; named after the last ring of Saturn, but its not a sci-fi book at all and while I can't really badmouth the publishers, lets just say it was not my choice) The 2nd will hopefully be out March 2013, the third too early to tell.

And to anyone also looking in on this, Reis and Anderson run their computers in the same house, same network; both are relatively similar in performance. Have instructed Anderson how to put Dillon's config on which brought the lerp down, but the problem is still there, and is only on his computer. I WILL NOT GIVE UP ON YOU ANDERSON!! I WILL FIGURE THIS DAMN THING OUT )@*%$^

Ok to get specs, go to the little windows icon on the bottom left of your screen, click it, then in the Search bar, type dxdiag copy/paste it all here : ) Then click the tab up top that says Display, and copy/paste those things there too

Dammit Cast, first you said I was high/drunk, then you said it was Promotion high, and now this? Can't a guy just have a habitual PCP habit and not be labeled? GEEZ : P @ Cutts: My particular style of writing tends to be a bit daedal and of a farraginous plot nature (Think of Magnolia, only less concentrated since a book has much more to fill); this particular work centers around an old folk's home where the residents discover that the nurses and caretakers have created a death pool, so these wily octogenarians+ decide to have a little fun with them. Of course, due to my morbid curiosity over death and philosophy, the games become a bit more sinister and psychological as they progress, until the reader is not sure who exactly is betting on who It has been so much fun to write; I've been visiting old people's homes for the past few months, talking to the elderly, learning their approach to death (majority are fascinated by it!), and gaining a brand new respect for not only "The Greatest Generation", but the ability for them to remember every damn detail of their life!

As you might know, I'm a writer. Over the past 5 months, I have completed something I never could do before. My first book took 6 to 7 years to write. The second, 2 to 3 years. The third, in a spawn of 5 months, just hit this: So I'm proud, and I want to bask in glory, so if you all don't mind, please post pictures of cats in my honor : P (and yes Grant, crab cakes are allowed too)

I am bloody excited about this. I am huge fan of Snyder (well, everything but Sucker Punch, but I don't blame him for that shitfest); LOVED 300, Watchmen, Dawn of the Dead (that opening scene when she's driving through the new chaos of the zombie attack is one of my favorite shots of his ( )... I have high hopes

To add to cutts, have you posted your computer specs before? I went through your post history a bit, but didn't find anything. Post specs of comp! This could be a complicated issue though, so if you see me online Steam (I'm always online), tell me to get into vent and we'll talk about it (since posting everything we might need to fix it here could take a lot of time for ya )
