All Lightsabers are made by their respective wielder. ooOo I meant more like the knowledge of how to make them wasn't passed down to Sith people, so this particular gentleman figured it out on his own and made it that way, sans instruction booklet.

I think the story behind that particular saber is that he made it himself (if the rumors of who that is are true). Someone else who knows more about the whole Star Wars universe can probably explain it better.

Copying this from Cannon's thread; I recommend anyone experiencing ping issues to try this and post the results. PingPlotter It is essentially tracert with a bunch of information gathered over a period of time. Look at the Avg #'s (average ping response...the one after is Current ping response) on each line of information. Most are in the 20-30s, which is normal. The moment it gets to hop 14 (the same place that Cannon's starts fucking up, where it gets to choopa's servers), it jumps to almost 100. This tells me it isn't my ISP or any of the connections to the server, but the server host itself. There is no actual loss (the first set of digits next to the Hop number; you can see when my modem goes down, it has loss of course...it went down a few times today, it stays there for duration of the plotted set), so it isn't that kind of issue. Nothing gets shut down. Shit just gets throttled. I'm not sure what could cause this. I'd LOVE to see if anyone's who's looks similar so please download this shit and try it out for me for a couple hours during peak traffic time (daytime) please! Take a screenshot of the picture like I've done here and post it for us to witness. I highly recommend this program for anyone experiencing any sort of issues with their internet. Link. I liked Lone Survivor. It wasn't exactly super realistic, but goddamn was it vicious. Full Metal Jacket is up there, along with Apocalypse Now (the redux version is exceptionally insane). Along same lines, The Deer Hunter was AMAZING. Holy shit. I may watch that again tonight now that you reminded me of it. John Woo's Red Cliff (second part was released a year later) was pretty damn good too. I'm not sure about how historically accurate it was, I'm not that well versed in Chinese history, but it was excellently told. Defiance with James Bon...er, Daniel Craig, was decent...told a story I hadn't seen a thousand times before. Cold Mountain was pretty fucking good. That one scene where the confederates blow up the union guys with the tunnel bomb and end up getting trapped in the crater...wow. The suspense in this clip is great: I can't find a video of what happens after this, but it was of a similar intensity as the opening scene in Saving Private Ryan. Not as well done (of course), but it tried. Grave of the Fireflies holds a special place in my heart, up there as one of the most depressing films I've ever seen...and it's animated. I could go on for days, I like war movies : )

I think no one; pretty sure Quarterman had to end it since the pub crashed so had low numbers. Avila almost took the round you guys left on by himself though, that was neat. It was 5 or 6 vs 1, he took it down to 1v1. Rematch is definitely necessary though! Do the Hills have a running tally on father vs son realisms? Nope. Running the trace route shows that the spikes happen on the server end, not the ISP end. Plus, multiple people are reporting similar issues, none of which use the same ISP. I'm on Time warner. Cannon is on Videotron. We experienced the same spike at the same time. All evidence points to server issue...although the past two days, I haven't had any spikes at all. *shrug* I'm going to keep logging all ping requests to the public server for the next few days just for the hell of it, in case anyone wants the data.

It looked like cheats to me; wall hacks. I took 7 demos, all showing you scoping enemy out through walls. That said, we have many other people who review demos and confirm each other's bans. They are not taken lightly. If I was wrong, they'll see it and unban you shortly and I'll apologize profusely. If I wasn't wrong, you were cheating and will remain banned indefinitely. Give it a day or two please for others to review the evidence.

One thing you definitely don't have to worry about with Reis is him killing you. He is probably the worst DOD player in history of DOD and all games in general. We let him hang around because Swedish accents are funny : )

I'm getting the similar problem. As with Cannon, it's only during peak day-time hours for east coast, never happening after 10pm-ish. I'm waiting for it to happen again to tracert, will post

There shouldn't be a problem with customs... Is there? Nope. Private was on adanti at 3pm EST today with no issues and I played a custom last night on the pub, no problems.
