i am not sure if you need to uninstall, but you need to run the application again to make changes. make sure you go through and select the options you want to have.

That's weird. i just went in and clicked achievements and it popped right up for me and i do use the GUI but not the HUD at least i think thats what i do.. but either way back when i did use the hud i had no issues

i told him to disable hdr and it fixed it.

did u download the map from gamebanana? or did u connect to the private server to download.

please try removing HDR if it is enabled. that has fixed it for me in the past.

it means it completely removes the old software and replaces it with the new instead of just overwriting. you can find that setting under custom install i think. there should be a check box somewhere that says preform clean install.

I had him try that immediately when he noticed the issue. .it is already set to do nothing

i am using the same hud i have always used i am using the same config i was using before i had this issue. (the one i posted) the problem kept happening despite me lowering graphics, disabling hdr and disabling multi core i turned the multi core back on but my hdr is still off. these settings were already set and were still happening so i stopped playing for about a week then i came back and it stopped the only thing that really happened was a windows update to microsoft windows defender. so maybe it was that, but who knows.

the problem has stopped, but why it stopped is unknown to me.
