  1. Name: Hava and Vaughany

    Steam I.D: STEAM_0:0:15129011 & STEAM_0:1:15065464 respectively.

Reasons for the Ban: Both joined the server at the same time and starting TKing. Fled the server before I could ban. It appears these two are buddies who like to go around TKing on servers, they have a previous ban on record also.

Recommended duration of ban: 1 week

Demo Provided?: N - Sgt. C. Duncan was present.

  2. Name: L/Cpl. S. Hell[1st SAS]

    Duration of Ban: Permanent

Reasons for the Ban: Wearing 1st SAS tags.

Comments: Banned him due to the current BOS policy for 1st SAS

  3. What operating system are you running? (XP, Win 7 etc.)

If could get the bluescreen error code that shows up, that will give us more to go on.

It will look something like the highlighted box in this image.2352.Windows_BSOD_zps1irk8gi8.jpg

If your PC is restarting too quickly for you to be able to read the error code, you can disable your PC from restarting automatically. Do this on Windows 7, right click My Computer and go to properties. Click Advanced System Settings on the left hand side. Click Settings under the Startup and Recovery section. Untick the automatically restart box.

To rule out overheating, go ahead and download CoreTemp. Once you've launched it, go to Options > Settings. Under the General tab, tick the "Enable Logging on Startup" box. Restart CoreTemp and then play DOD:S or CSGO until your PC bluescreens. Then navigate to C:/Program Files/CoreTemp. You'll find an Office Excel .xml file that will have logged your CPU temperatures. The will be show the time and date they were logged. If you upload and post them on here we'll be able to tell if your CPU is overheating. If you need any assistance in doing any of this, feel free to steam message myself or any of the other technicians.

  4. I just tried both .bsp files that are linked in the logistics office and they work fine for me.

Have you always experienced this issue with Strand? Or has it only started happening recently?

Try running DOD:S vanilla without any custom content, see if you have any luck with that. You can back up your custom content so you won't lose any of it. If you need any assistance doing this feel free to steam message myself.

  5. Where did you download strand from?

I believe the map can be installed in either Day of Defeat Source/dod/maps or Day of Defeat Source/dod/downloads/maps. If you have it installed in one directory try switching it over.

Another thing you could try is to back up your custom content for dods, remove it and launch the game vanilla.
