  1. Do we even have 14 people who play? And we'd need everyone to have maxed out tanks and whatnot while avoiding going over the maximum tier.

Also if we do this we need to be the biggest faggots about it. Everyone grab a fucking hummel and lets do this.

EDIT: Oh never mind, all the slots are filled.

  2. Rockstar is releasing a new DLC sometime in the future called the Nightmare pack that is going to unleash undead horrors upon wild west.

Then, later this fall, we will be presenting our original mostly Single-Player DLC release: the Undead Nightmare Pack.

Unleashed upon the world of Red Dead Redemption, the Undead Nightmare Pack will feature an entirely new single-player campaign that follows John Marston as he tries to find a cure for the highly infectious zombie plague that has spread across the frontier.

In addition to the lengthy single-player adventure, The Undead Nightmare Pack features brand new gameplay mechanics, weapons, zombie animals, mythical creatures and even a brand new secret location.

All this, plus some new multiplayer modes and much more to be revealed in the weeks ahead. The Undead Nightmare Pack will be available simultaneously for download via PlayStation Network ($9.99) and Xbox LIVE (800 Microsoft Points). We'll have lots more info soon.

And to think Red Dead Redemption couldn't get any more badass.

  3. FL studio is fun, if you're just interested in messing around, but if you want to make serious music, i would suggest Reason 4. Reason is highly advanced, and lets you alter every single aspect of every sound, and comes with a whole mess of tools, and programs to help design sounds and string it together to make music. You should look into it.

    FL studio= elementary school

    Reason 4= College

I'm going to second the hell out of Reason 4.

God damn that program is great for making music. Plus the libraries it comes with allows you to create music from just about every genre.

  4. Why would they be honest about what they really are?

Also, the Federal Reserve has the power given to it to coin money, and set it's value. Why? There are plenty of reasons why they should NOT have that power (listed towards the end of the article)

Not to derail this thread for too much longer but that article proves nothing.

Seeing as how she didn't cite anything, this whole thing could have been her twisting small facts into a blown out story. Hell the site itself says they are not responsible for any made up shit that is posted. So this is not a reputable source.

And for Aaron Russo's article, that doesn't make him look any more credible when he is well known for producing films and TV shows.

  5. - Sure - it's a trailer so it's edited to show some interesting stuff, but the whole video is quite good as well.

Also, the Federal Reserve is a private corporation. Why are we allowing a private corporation (who's goal is to benefit it's owners) to regulate our dollar? Just tell me why.

Also Federal Reserve notes - which are backed by assets, are LARGELY backed by the power of congress to lay tax. Income tax? That thing that there is no real 'law' to? Awesome.

The fact that there's a private institution holding such a huge amount of power - and I'm supposed to believe that this private corporation is solely concerned about the citizens of this country and not about their own wallet? Come on.

Also, you never addressed the fact that Bush wrote into law that the Federal Reserve NO LONGER (forget the dusty tomes) has to report to Congress twice a year. That is no longer. There was a lot of uproar about that at the time, but it slipped under quite a few radars. Can't have the people realizing what's going down you know. Yes, he got rid of that 'accountabillabuddies'.

Please, give us reputable links to back your claims. And no, conspiracy theory videos do not count.

  6. Our current monetary system is failing terribly - and it started when money became just 'a piece of paper', and we stopped requiring there to be some sort of value tied to it.

    What?

From what you're saying is that our money is worthless and we just barter? What town do you live in?

Also no monetary system is failing anywhere nearly the way you people keep saying it is. If it was we'd be trading wheat for chickens and horseshoes for handjobs.

  7. It's also a matter of them getting the gear they trained with in the military. Plus the explosives would have to be military grade in order to destroy these things without having a good chance of leaving prints and be small enough to easily place anywhere.

It looks good on paper but chances are things would turn to shit fairly fast.

  8. Well that's the beauty of this Mortal Kombat game. The series has already hit rock bottom, it's got no where to go but up. Plus if I can recall the only half decent Mortal Kombat game to come out "recently" was Armageddon, but that was a really watered down fighting game.

But I'm just hoping this game will be awesome but my expectations for this game are really low. Of course I get a stiffy for fighting games so I'm a bit more excited for this than should be.

Of course the second you see a T rating on this game assume it's shit, it worked with MK Vs. Marvel and one of the other horrible ones that came out.

It's also the only series that Jack Thompson still has hissy fits over anymore.

  9. Your not removing the problems money brings, your just skipping money and making things have a skewed value. I mean some people would find a TV to be worth more or less than a game system. And only way to fix that would to be assigning everything with a value, so instead of removing money you just made items into currency.

And you're ether Scrooge or a stone cold retard if you think you work for only money. Money brings the ability to trade it for items of equal value, you don't work so your wallet gets fat, you work to buy shit with money. Without money we'd be back to trading items of value for other items of value. We'd be bartering like a couple of ass backwards farmers. And there would be no investments at all in this system, you'd be working for shit your whole life. While in reality you can rent out homes and invest in companies to make money for you. This little degree of freedom is what makes people rich. Smart spending is the exact opposite of what would happen in this system.

Let me guess, investing is wrong because it requires little physical work? Or is it because most people that want your kind of system tend to be the people that would rather work and get the same stuff as a rich person with as little thought as possible? The way this would go is that it would promote people to be lazy for a good pay off. Anyone can just zone out and flip burgers, but it takes some self control and careful planning to invest wisely and reap rewards from the pay off.

And no, most people will not become doctors because they really really want to. Most people will want to do as little effort as possible in a comfortable and easy to do job and just get the rewards that brings.

There's no motivation to become something better if everyone is paid the same. There's still no sense of accomplishment or reward of getting higher in the business ladder.

If your given it freely in reward to working that would give you a reason to work.

But you're not given it freely, you are working for it. Just like money. All this does is cut out the middle man and cut to the shit. It just saves people a trip to the store.

  10. Well seeing as how there is no real need to explain a Mortal Kombat game, here's some .gif's taken from SomethingAwful/IGN.

But the game is shaping up to be a pretty solid fighter. And so far the noticeable features are that your characters look more battered throughout the fight depending on damage taken.

  11. I just hope that Gearbox adds in the same end game boss they always have. I just hope it's red this time around.

But to be honest I still play Duke 3D to this day and I can't shake the horrible feeling that the "series" that has brought me plenty of joy as both a platformer and a over the top shooter, will be mediocre at best. But I'll still buy it only so that I can say I own a game that has been in production for longer than I've been playing games.

    EDIT:

  12. But if you work hard and get a good education to become a doctor you get payed the exact same amount as some guy who hauls garbage. This whole system just promotes people to be lazy fuck offs and still get payed the same regardless.

I mean if I went through medical school and gave sweat, blood, and tears to do be a doctor I'll be fucking damned if I get payed the same as some fuck who works at McDonalds or some asshat paving the streets.

  13. Why the fuck would I want to be equal with my neighbor? And why would I want breadlines?

This sounds like something a lazy man would want just so they can avoid working at places that require more work and still get payed the same as someone who works harder. There is no sense of accomplishment in this system, it's just everyone getting babied by the bank and government.

And hard working citizens get screwed because the modern day school system teaches nothing that can be used financially. Most people when they get out of high-school just get themselves into debt by buying a car or a house which locks them into a debt they'll have to work for.

Money is the one thing that can put a man in shackles and take them off, if you remove money you remove a man's choice to freedom.

  14. This game looks like it's gonna be pretty cool. Some of the devs that are making this worked for Blizzard and a few others made the Tribes game, definitely gonna keep my eye on this one it looks promising.

But these characters look like they would have some serious ass back problems from the giant tubes and jetpack stuff strapped on them.

  15. You weren't kidding when you said a mix of Warhammer and WoW, it honestly looks like Warhammer with Wow's art style.

But my question is, how's the grind? And how is the late game stuff?

I was turned off of WoW from the fairly pointless grind and Warhammer lacked any late game shit.

Also how is the customization? Can I change what the armor looks like and the color? Or is it going to be everyone running around in the same armor late game?

(Please tell me there are firearms, I want to play a cyborg psychic zombie with a god damn gun for once!)

    EDIT:

Any time you die, there is a (10%?) chance an item will be cursed, which means its stats will be inverted. You can buy holy charms from the cash shop or AH to prevent a curse, although a charm will be consumed every death regardless of whether or not an item will be cursed. You can also buy a scroll from the cash shop or auction house to remove a curse.

Is this still in effect? It seems completely fucking pants on head retarded that if I die I ether have to fork out money to fix the item or just get a new item all together.
