Drako, You need not worry about offending us. We are glad that when you chose a Realism Unit that would leave your Pub days behind it was us. Weapon restrictions are in place to allow our new members to use the primary weapon used in Unit vs. Unit realisms, the rifle. The rifle is a fickle beast, I am a 1stSgt. and I still haven't mastered every aspect. I try to get better every time I log in to the server. The rifle is the most versatile weapon, and believe me once its mastered your KD scores will rise. That is the reason in Realisms only a handful of special weapons are handed out. It is about working as a team and utilizing those weapons to their fullest in the right situations. If you decide that you can put in the dedication it takes to learn the rifle well, you will be rewarded handsomely. Even in the pub if you take a look at who is at the top of the leaderboard, more times than not that person will be using a rifle. Hopefully you will reconsider, talk to other Enlisted members in vent and get their opinions, I assure you they will give you a simlilar take on this.
