  1. Well, it certainly seems like you have the computer and internet for it. The only reason I have asked you these questions is becuase we havent had any other issues like this we have heard about recently. Sometimes the server does have these issues and we usually just restart it. I would try one other thing, uninstall the game and reinstall it, verify your games files through Steam, and logout of Steam and re-log in. This might clear up some cache/file issues. You might also try installing to another drive(even an external) in ccase there are any hard drive issues.
  2. Its my understanding that when our Unit changed our direction to Hell Let Loose thats when HLStats dropped. Apologies, we are devoting our resources towards our new direction.
  3. Hey Annihilator, a few questions to ask yourself about this issue. 1. Are you on wired or wireless internet? 2. What is the distance from your wireless router to your computer? 3, Is your internet throttled by many people using the same line? 4: Does your computer meet the minimum specs for Day of Defeat? 5. What video card do you have and are your drivers up to date? Is it a laptop with onboard video card? 6. How old is your computer, Processor, ram, hard drive type? I realize that Day of Defeat is old but many people do not have updated computers even to handle its old specs. Just thought I'd ask before we go further.
  4. Great work everyone! Logsdon's Record Store article was not added on the first run, take another look if you can guys!
  5. I do not disagree with anyone's general idealogy. As Cannon stated we come from many different backgrounds and countries. Political discussions in general, when they become more pointed and people talk about their opinions in a direct way toward a country, religion or even a person, in my experience, with 10 years in the Unit ,should never be done in a general discord/(vent in the old days) channel. This has nothing to do with politics, it has to do with Respect, the word of our Unit/Community. If people wanted to slug it out about politics, religion or anything along those lines in a personal way(although I dont recommend it because it always leads to conflict), move to to another channel/discord. Our discord channels should always promote comradery, friendship and above all, RESPECT. That is my understanding and two cents on this subject.
  6. Well Done Newsletter Staff! Thanks for all the hard work!

  14. Hey Goug, I found this article on Team 17 support, maybe try some of these solutions: Hell Let Loose: Lost Connection to Host: If the game kicks you out with the 'Lost Connection to Host' error message, please make sure that the game is not being blocked by your antivirus software. If it's not your antivirus, then please heck if have any of the following software installed on your PC: GameFirst VI Aura Sync If you do, please press Ctrl+Alt+Del to open Task Manager, find Asus GameFirst VI and Asus Aura on the list, right-click on each and select 'End Task'. Alternatively you can also uninstall the Asus software, reboot your PC and open the game to check if the problem is resolved. If the issue continues, then please follow the steps below. Solution 1: Please go to the Windows Settings then click Network & Internet then click the link Network and Sharing Centre. Then click on the link you have under the Access Type, next to Connections. The link is the Ethernet cable or WiFi you are using to connect. Go to Properties find Internet Protocol Version 6 on the list and uncheck it. If this option is already unchecked then please turn it on, press OK, then turn it off again and press OK. Then please retest your game. Solution 2: Connect your PC directly to the router with a LAN cable. Don't use any adapters, network extenders etc. Try to replace the cable if you have a spare one, and retest the game. Solution 3: Check your currently running processes, especially antiviruses, internet and motherboard utilities. Check their settings to make sure they don't slow down your internet. If nothing improves the situation, close every software you can one by one and retest the game. If none of the solutions above work for you, then please drop us a ticket, so we can investigate the issue for you. Hope one of these help.
