  1. Yeah Sarsons, that fucker has made life worse for almost every resident of this province, notwithstanding his friends and close associates, whom he has rewarded with high paying figurehead positions. He has made it nearly impossible for my sisters to get a proper education and the medical help they require. I am glad, no ecstatic, he is gone.
  2. In BC its almost easier for a teen to get pot than to get alcohol. My personal feeling is that legalized marijuana could be taxed and would be a massive revenue generator for the Province. I also imagine that legalized marijuana would drive the price of BC grown marijuana down as competition with Mexico and other cartels would not be as high due to the fact that it could be grown legally. It would become economically unviable to smuggle drugs across the borders just to sell it openly. Additionally, in BC it would be sold like alcohol, in government regulated facilities, not at the local cornerstore or supermarket. However, obviously some oversight would be necessary and the health risks would have to be carefully weighed. A recent report by the British health industry provided evidence that alcohol is more dangerous to society than is any other drug.
  3. Its a great day to be alive! I have hated every moment of his reign. He took a legitimate Party and corrupted it beyond repair. The NDP might be in trouble itself (the other major party in BC) but at least we don't have to deal with the reincarnation of the National Socialist Party. PS. Who is in BC?
  4. Love the CFL.
  5. For those who are not aware: The highly disliked (but recently re-elected) Premier of British Columbia resigned today. Apart from widespread corruption, breaking numerous laws (including drinking and driving) and finally promising no Harmonized tax during his election campaign then instating it almost immediately after the election he ALSO had an approval rating of 9%. Thats right, 9%. A glorious day in beautiful British Columbia, the sun is shining, birds are chirping, air is crisp and the hated leader of our province is gone!
  6. I think the problem has been that some of the things the Obama Administration has done aren't well enough understood by the general public to make truly informed decisions. Public opinion will swing back and forth between the two parties because as long as there is partisanship and mud-slinging, the public will never get the best policies. The focus needs to be shifted to how the Republicans and Democrats can work together for the good of the nation, not for an election years down the road.
  7. A little update: ***SPOILER ALERT*** Gameplay Leak
  8. I'm going to get sucked into Politics again. I make a point of not posting in the Politics Section because it always makes me frustrated. Anyways, maybe the politicians are finally in a position where they see the need to cooperate with one another for the good of the United States. Otherwise, public support and opinion will keep swinging back and forth between the two parties every two years. One more thing: Spending isn't necessarily a bad thing, its what its being spent on. More military/defense investments may not be a good idea, but spending on infrastructure may be useful.
  9. lol Park. Sorry, I hadn't looked to much at it. It really gives you an idea as to how much he has done in two years.
  10. Cool, I guess...
  11. It is still called Armistice Day as well as Remembrance Day in many places in the world. I think it would be very appropriate to have a moment of silence in the Private Server to show our respect. I would be able/willing to help organize it with someone. PM if you are interested.
  12. I was under the impression it was Moustache Mo-vember. Maybe its just a Canadian thing...
  13. Yeah, I could use another goalie, anybody?
  14. That trade was part of a three way deal I believe.
  15. Yeah, typically in the states its about 20 bucks less. I have that card too, what do you think so far?
  16. I just noticed that on top of holding the gun barrel, his hands aren't actually clasped around it. It looks like he is holding something wider.
  17. ARE YOU A WIZARD! Nashville 1st place in the West with no regulation losses.
  18. For me, I want a well rounded game. I prefer a long campaign so I don't always have to listen to some whiny kid playing a video game. I also prefer a well planned multiplayer, usually one that doesn't have someone running around acting like an idiot and is generally well balanced.
  19. I was never a big fan of MW or MW2 because I hated some of the special achievements you could get. You would end up playing a bunch of morons who were really fast and could kill you as you spawned, which for me was no fun. Also it contributed to a total lack of any semblance of realism. I was wanting to purchase Medal of Honour, however when I heard that the single player wasn't very good I decided to wait. Maybe if the price drops when COD:BO comes out I might change my mind.
  20. That sounds pretty sweet Janke. I have a quad i5 I am very happy with. The main reason I went with the i5 was the DDR3 capabilities, because I figured it would be better to spend a bit more now and have a comp I can run with for several years with only minor upgrades. The first thing I will upgrade will defs be the RAM. Currently I have 4GBs and would like to get to 6 or 8.
  21. Worsham for retard of the month?
  22. How long have you been in Manitoba? I thought you only recently moved, or was I mistaken?
  23. Had an important epiphany at school today. I think I am going to double major in Social and Educational Psychology. I want to go into the Honours program, so I need to buckle down and stop coasting. To all the psychologists out there, any suggestions? I am pretty certain I have the grades to apply 76% average with 80% in a second year psych course minimum, however, I want to do really well.
  24. Awesome.
