  6. Lets be honest now, if either came knocking at your door, would you turn her away?
  7. Western Conference 1. Chicago 2. San Jose 3. Vancouver 4. Phoenix 5. Nashville 6. LA 7. Detroit 8. Colorado Eastern Conference 1. Washington 2. Pittsburgh 3. Buffalo 4. New Jersey 5. Philadelphia 6. Ottawa 7. Montreal 8. Boston
  8. Yes but they are only one point ahead of San Jose in the Pacific Conference, so if they don't finish ahead of the Sharks they will automatically be bumped back.
  9. I call bullshit. I have already outlined the reasons why this is not the case and I will not repeat them. Vogt, if the states choose to secede from the national government than that is the decision of each state individually. I don't understand what the State Militia has to do with it. It is a ridiculous notion to even begin to compare the two different governments and there parties as they operate in totally different spheres. One final thing for all those who believe you should secede from the national government, courtesy of Benjamin Franklin:
  10. A used condom.
  11. I said GREAT beer, Bud Light is most definitely not. Mamora, I would avoid Kokanee like the plague.
  12. Just talked with a CBSA agent about how much it would cost to bring a computer across the border and the answer was just tax, no other fees!
  13. Parker is going to kick you in the dick Engle.
  14. So this is NOT your average beer thread. There is no poll, no argument, just great beer. With that being said, what is your favourite quality beer? Tin Whistle Brewing Companies "killer bee" Dark Honey Ale 6%; $5 650mL
  15. /thread.
  16. Parts is fine with me. I can put it together with a little help from a friend.
  17. Janke, I went to Futureshop.ca and found this. Tell me what you think.
  18. Congratulations to the 1st!
  19. Alright, so as you all know, I bought a MacBook Pro in September for school. I have been very happy with it and it has served its purpose beautifully. However, in the meantime, my old computer bit the dust and that is why I have not been around much. I am hoping to get my Macbook Pro bootcamped properly, and therefore could run DOD:S, but I also have some money to buy a new desktop. With that, the competition: The computer must be no more than $750CDN The computer must be DDR3, preferably with a QuadCore Processor Fire Away, and the sooner the better!
  20. Sorry, but I don't really enjoy watching a bunch of dudes run around wearing spandex, slapping each others asses.
  21. The very first word in that passage Marsden is "life," which would imply that everyone is entitled to live, and therefore, medical care and attention. As far as I see it, if Americans don't want public healthcare then they don't want it, but do not tell me that Canadian public healthcare is bad and that this is just an example of the government trying to control you or other 'conspiracy' theories.
  22. That may be true GMoney, except I would like to suggest that the continuum is far larger than the differences between the two American parties as both still fall well inside the conservative definition.
  23. Pictures or it never happened for my - uh - gay bar photo collection?
  24. It is NOT free healthcare. People pay taxes to fund public healthcare, it doesn't just appear. Additionally, this "extreme left liberal" conspiracy is ridiculous. The Canadian Conservative Party still supports public healthcare and they are most definitely NOT an "extreme left liberal" party.
  25. I think that public health care is one of the single most important pieces of Canadian Law. I have two younger sisters, both of whom are disabled, and I assure you, there is no way financially my family would be able to survive without public healthcare. I believe that public healthcare has ensured that all Canadians have both something to be proud of and something to help them in the toughest of times. I do not believe that the quality of care will deteriorate with a public system, but instead would ensure an equal level of care countrywide. Public healthcare will not create more debt for the federal system, but a calculated raise in taxes would cover the entire cost. Finally, I believe that the old institutions that required the stimulus packages only needed them as a result of there complacency in earning off the income of the working class. I believe that as a member of society, one must show compassion to all of humanity. To be an accepted member of society, one must be willing to accept responsibility for those less fortunate than you. Public healthcare is not more for one and less for another, but instead an equal quality for all. A true civilization is one that takes care of all its people.
