We have all seen each others backgrounds, but I wanted to share some interesting wallpapers I have found, and my favourite sites to find new ones. interfacelift.com Awesome website with loads of user posted wallpapers. These are all high resolution and come in a variety of sizes, with something to suit everyones taste. wallbase.net This is a collection of disorganized wallpapers. Some are hi-res, others are simply really large, but all are disorganized. The best thing to do is go through random when you have a few minutes, something may pop out at you.

I would base the map on an actually event. Personally, I would enjoy a map based in Italy or Japan or even the Pegasus Bridge capture in Normandy on DDay. If you would like I would do some research for you and find a suitable battle to map.
