I think not doing anything major will be of benefit to the Canucks. We are not a playoff team and shouldn't be pretending to be.

I don't necessarily disagree, but I wouldn't go crowning the Netherlands as the champions yet. I hoped they would come out stronger against Australia, and they didn't. Germany looked very good as well. Brazil has disappointed so far.
The English played terribly this afternoon. At times they looked like a quality team, but then they had stretches where they couldn't make a pass or play to save their lives.

Mexico looked really good yesterday. Chile played a very good game today as well.

What a fantastic start to this tournament. I've watched: Brazil-Croatia, Spain-Netherlands, Italy-England, Switzerland-Ecuador, France-Honduras, and Argentina-Bosnia, and seen parts of a few of the other games. Unbelievable stuff.

Wow, Chicago...

I hope Kane takes a cab in Cali and ends up getting raped by coked up homeless men only to die from AIDS.

The show was/is ridiculous, and I sort of love it for its commitment to the laughably absurd.

Also Gooderham, how do you feel about Torterello being fired?
I think it was probably the right decision. I was alright with the hiring at first because I was under the impression that management had gone to the veteran players and asked for their insight. However, as the season wore on, it became apparent that Torts was ill suited with the makeup of our team. The Sedins are an elite offensive talent, but playing the PK is not the best use of their icetime. AV rarely put them out for a defensive zone faceoff, which limited their usage as well. A coach somewhere in between our previous two is what this team requires.

It's comical to watch Yankee fans complaining about players leaving for more money when the Yankee organization has bought every player they've wanted.

I don't disagree with that joke at all. I think we are bruisers and tend to come in and FSU but, loyal is what loyal gets. I can see where other teams don't like us based on our hit hard ask questions later streak. In fact this year I think there are teams that are incredibly fast and it will be extremely hard to beat them if we come up against them.
Cheap shots and dirty hits don't make a team a bunch of "bruisers."

Fuck the Bruins.

God damnit St. Louis.

I'll be cheering for the Sharks, Blues, and Redwings to make it out of the first round.

I believe it is only the single player campaign. Nonetheless...

That Mon-TB game was insane.
I am enjoying the fact that I can sit and watch the games for the sport and not have to cheer on my team. The last couple years have been tough to bear so it is refreshing to watch games that don't have any implications for my team.

As mentioned it is called lucid dreaming, and it is something you can practice and get better at. Oddly enough, I had never had this experience until last night.
I remember when I first heard of it, a girl asked if she could use it to control her dreams so that when she has dreams about dates they "don't stop before the good stuff."

Blue Jays are going to be terrible again.

I wonder how many Nobel prizes belong to the people in the photo?
