  1. Thanks to Party Rewards, I can afford any champion or runeset!
  2. Quarterman revels in being the unit retard. He has systematically eliminated all the best options for other poll competition to force everyone to vote for him for not including the heavyweights. Unit member most intellectually disabled or unit member most playing you all for fools? The decision should be easy.
  3. I dig the AWP skin, like has been stated, it's very clean and crisp. Really digging that. I think the P90 skin will do well if it makes it to market, I just somewhat dislike the skins that have a billion things going on. I would prefer your P90 over Death by Kitty though. But I hate the P90. Don't give me a P90 skin.
  4. It focused too much on excessive content with no depth. Complete your faction? Here, go play essentially the same quests, but slightly harder. If I'd have played one more dream sequence quest I probably would've gone into a coma myself.
  5. Two new additions to my family, as of yet unnamed: The owner of these two had called into my sister's vet clinic asking about medical advice because one of her flying squirrels had died, and "the other two aren't doing so well" Turns out she had been feeding them hamster food instead of the correct diet for flying squirrels. We used to breed sugar gliders, so we know exactly how to take care of them. While it was too late for the third, we are able to get both of these guys back to healthy status. It was a little late for the guy in the second picture as well, because of his poor diet, he became blind from malnutrition. His brother, wearing his tail like a hat in the first picture, is doing very well and is seemingly good health now. Lesson: Flying squirrels are not rodents. If you're going to get new pets, know what you're getting yourself into. If you aren't willing to adapt for them to be healthy and happy, don't do it. Don't get an animal "because it's cute" if you can't take the time to take care of it properly.
  6. Very nice. Way better than what I can do. My only critique of it might be that it's too much to look at. The "loudest" Pro90 skin out there is probably "Death By Kitty," let's take a look: So it's covered in texturing, but it keeps the iron sights, trigger, muzzle and magazine clear. You might think about doing something similar. When you test it in game, what does the reload animation look like?
  7. Kirk's just lucky Avila didn't play a team. I'm not sure about that strategy. And I'm glad I didn't play C9 week 1 with a double dose of losses. Wolves did a bit better.
  8. Here's all 85 entries into the competition. Other favorites include: "Oh shit, that was today?" Switzerland "I found the Entwives" Venezuela And "Ermahgerd, feraworks!" United States
  9. The Miss Universe competition is currently underway, with last night's contestants displaying their "cultural outfit" The highlight was definitely Miss Canada: See more Here You may win this round Canada, but we've still got last years.
  10. Join us starting the 22nd for the 1st Devil Dog Fantasy League! Here's week 1's matchups: Willow v. Parker Kirk v. Avila Lagesse v. Kirkendall McDowell v. Johnson
  11. I work Wednesday night. I'd prefer Tuesday or Friday if possible.
  12. Hey, what happened to the Pack? Looks like they ain't goin' anywhere!
  13. I'm so sick of early access, I can't do those anymore. Too many burns, not enough cash.
  14. I've not done fantasy sports myself before, but I'd love to give this a try.
  15. Oh Glenn. So much hyperbole, so little substance. His argument is that he's accusing the federal government of pissing away all the money for the federal transportation system. The problem is that none of the money that the federal government has been pissing away is money that's set for the federal transportation system. That system has not been given an increase in funding since 1993. The federal government is restricted in bills in what they can earmark the money to go towards. In fact the proposal that Glenn would support, devolution, is what the politicians have been focusing on. They keep going for the money to get for their own state for the money to get invested into the roads by the states decision. That's all fine and good, but the states end up going different ways with that money than what they're supposed to. Nowadays, the states get about half their funding for roads and highways from the feds. Sadly, poor management leaves very little money for the transportation. the $.12 gas hike has plenty of bipartisan support on the aisle, and most of the country supports it as long as the funds are earmarked for improving roads and highways. All of what Glenn goes into in his argument is not pertinent to the issue at hand, and instead he's completely fearmongering. A twelve cent gas tax hike is not going to cause the end of times. He's acting like it will. In fact, he's pulling other countries problems into our own taxes. Inflation has been and will continue to affect our economy. The federal transportation system is horribly out paced by the inflation in the economy. It's been 20 years since its last funding change. Clinton or Bush should've increased funding to the fed transportation. Neither did and it falls to the current administration. I disagree with Obama's toll proposal, but I think the roads do need additional funding. With the recent gas surplus, now is the ideal time to rework the current gas tax. Personally, I'd love for the funding to go full devolution so the states get all of the money for road funding. Let's see Illinois go even more corrupt. Then they wouldn't have an excuse for the abysmal highway system anywhere west of Chicago. They even toll their bloody roads and have two lane highways on major thoroughfares. Two lane highways. Stuck behind semis for an entire drive.
  16. Clearly you're not absorbing the entirety of the situation. This is not a "What is going on in the US?" question, considering it's 1 state out of 50 and it's population is insignificant compared to many other states. The article you're pulling is from "Mother Jones" who like to spend their time bashing the right wing as much as possible, instead of laying it out. In reality, Brownback's plan is not a Republican plan, nor a Conservative plan. His whole agenda in Kansas is a litmus test for the Tea Party agenda. Kansas has not had a good budget for many years. Brownback's predecessor's, Kathleen Sebelius and Mark Parkinson, were of the Democratic party, (quite a feat to be elected in one of the most right-leaning states in the union) and they offered millions in tax cuts. Not to shift the blame of Brownback's decisions, but he isn't necessarily a true Republican. Many right-wing politicians were quick to criticize his plan even before he implemented it. Susan Wagle, Kansas Senate President, said, "“There is no doubt the governor’s announcement has put the Legislature in a difficult position,” [when tasking the Senate to cut and clean and prune in order to fund his tax cuts] It's a Tea Party test. Cut everything. As much as Mother Jones would love for it to be so, Kansas is not totally screwed. They have quite a bit of it figured out. If they don't change many of Brownback's orders by next year, than they can definitely be screwed. Mother Jones says Kansas needs to balance its state budget by law. Many states have ran deficits. It's definitely not a good thing, but it has been done. Kansas does have a State Law that says every year they need to be able to put away an amount no lesser than 7.5% of expenditures into reserves. However, as politicians can do, they could change the state law and be done with it. Shawn Sullivan says they won't do that, but I'm not so sure. It would hurt their credit rating though, and that's not good for a state that'll need loans to get through these years. As for giving tax cuts to farmers, that's pretty self-explanatory. Speaking from the viewpoint of a farming state, farmers have incredible tax cuts. They always have, and they always will. How else would they be able to afford $200,000 (or more) combines and other equipment? Anyways, this whole situation is not a "OMG shit's all fucked up now!" It's an opportunity for Kansas to learn more about how to manage its budget successfully in today's market. In all honesty, Kansas's shortfalls don't even register on the national timeline as Kansas has less population and GDP than even Iowa. Not to say it's not an important issue, but it's definitely not going to affect the entire nation. President Obama, Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, none of them have any say in what happens to the Kansas budget. I suppose they could try to pass some legislation enforcing it, but that wouldn't be constitutional. Kansas has dug this hole by electing Brownback and allowing him to enact his legislation.
  17. His neck is going to be so sore after that. Also, the real crime here is her filming in portrait mode.
  18. Do you have those compact pistols because you carry? If no, do you have a license to carry? I do have an Iowa CCW. (Concealed Carrying of Weapons) It's only (explicitly) valid for carrying in the state of Iowa. Some states will accept the Iowa CCW, but states like Illinois do not. Iowa will accept a valid CCW from any other state if you are visiting. If the establishment I'm entering has a request posted for no weapons, I will not carry it inside. I don't carry often, but I still do sometimes. I've only felt threatened once while carrying, but the situation didn't require me to even indicate that I was armed. The only handgun I carry anymore is the S&W Bodyguard. It's extremely small, accurate, and comfortable. I have a Versacarry holster for my xD, but that thing is way too big to carry comfortably.
  19. All handguns for me: Springfield xD .45 Smith and Wesson Bodyguard .380 Beretta 92fs Ruger Mk III Target
