Finally, Romney's Tax Plan released !
Kirkendall 1st MRB replied to T. Brown 1st MRB's topic in Politics?
I'm sorry, but perhaps you need to reread my post. I don't accuse him of being ill-informed. My point is that I want him to back up his opinion. If I was saying he was ill-informed, I wouldn't ask questions I would merely be on the offensive the entire time. All he said at first was "Romney's a liar and an idiot." He doesn't say why, say anything else, yet I'm the one being unsubstantiated? Who comments what now? -
Eastern part of Iowa. I live in Dubuque, which is on the border of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Technically the firm's in Illinois, since it's across the Mississippi in East Dubuque.

I'm an intern at Hammer, Simon, & Jensen, it's a local law office. Local being in Iowa. It's exceedingly slow on Mondays and Fridays, Mondays because the attorneys don't want to do much, and Friday because the courts (and the attorneys) don't want to do much. But a typical weekday, I'm here from 7 to 1, then off to Best Buy till close.

Last half-hour at the law firm before I head off to Best Buy, but this is dragging.

Unban Request :: Jerry's Dare
Kirkendall 1st MRB replied to Jerrys Dare's topic in Military Police Archives - DoD:S
I'm confused by your excuse for the unban. Please elaborate on that. This was an imported permanent ban, I'm not sure what your explanation has to do with anything. -
This is the version I was referring to. There are other versions, but that one won many awards and is regarded as the best one of the bunch.

Although both games are strategy games and both games are very entertaining, I'd probably have to give my recommendation to Axis & Allies. However I think it really depends more on who you're playing with. I've always enjoyed Axis & Allies because (the original) is a good 5 player game, and I've got three brothers with similar interests, plus a reservoir of friends who I can rotate through. In Risk, every unit you have is basically just numbers. So, 1 infantry is 1 infantry, 1 cavalry is 5 infantry, and 1 cannon is 10 infantry. That's just basically how they break down. In Axis & Allies there are a bunch of different units that different players will invest in. For example, the U.S. usually doesn't build a lot of infantry until later. Instead of, "You get X many soldiers this round" You get more creative control as to how you will win WW2. You'll have "industrial points" basically monopoly money based on your territory and you will buy things from infantry to battleships to bombers. I like Axis & Allies more personally, but I've always loved in-depth board games. Settlers of Catan, Carcasonne, the Game of Thrones Board Game (2nd ed) are all great games. The Game of thrones board game is one of the more complex ones to get started with that you'll play. Anyways, I digress. If you want something more in-depth to go with, play Axis & Allies. If you want a more casual game that's still a load of fun go with Risk. I've found that Risk is a bit better especially if you don't have a full roster. The most enjoyable games of Axis & Allies are when you have a full roster. People can sub in and play multiple factions, but that gets tedious. In the original Axis & Allies you'll have 5 nations, the US, UK, Germany, USSR, and Japan. (Sorry Canada you aren't important enough) Like I said, a casual board game over pizza and beer may be more along the lines of Risk. But I've had Axis & Allies last as a day-long affair. Not that it's a bad thing, it's still a load of fun all day. I have many great memories sitting around during winter break eating cinnamon bread playing board games. Ahh, nostalgia my great friend!

Finally, Romney's Tax Plan released !

Vote Gary Johnson? (I know Johnson won't have enough backing, but I do believe the libertarians a precursor to the fall of the two party system) -

Kirkendall 1st MRB replied to T. Brown 1st MRB's topic in Politics?
It's not absurd when your opening statement is derogatory. When you say you cannot understand how we think because this person is an idiot, you are insinuating I or anyone else who is voting Romney is an idiot. That is completely ridiculous. It's ridiculous because you are saying I am absurd even though you did the same thing. You cannot understand my viewpoint, to quote you, "without knowing my knowledge." Yet you make this statement and you follow it up equally. -
Finally, Romney's Tax Plan released !
Kirkendall 1st MRB replied to T. Brown 1st MRB's topic in Politics?
That's truly a ridiculous statement. President Obama and VP Joe Biden have proven time and time again how stupid and how many "flip-flops" they can have. It's inherent in politics. You take an interest in U.S. politics, what does that amount to? Does that mean you watch it fervently, going to CNN, Fox, or MSNBC to get multiple opinions, or are you just giving off something that you've heard from one source? I "follow" German politics in that I know a lot about it. I have family that I discuss it with in Germany. Am I going to shout out that someone in German politics is an idiot? Nope, because even typing that here would prove an unneeded bias. I'm voting against Obama, for Mitt Romney. Politicians definitely aren't my favorite people, yet I very rarely will call one an idiot. Why is it that people have to justify votes for Mitt Romney when President Obama has proven nothing about his presidency other than he can divide a country worse than it was before? -
It's true I did not finish the entirety of my burger, only a little over half. But I felt great afterwards, and I guess I just don't have as much experience putting large amounts of meat into my body as Goodwin!

Happy Birthday Hannylicious Careful Goodwin! May it be full of beer and good times!

People who play TF2 are crazy
Kirkendall 1st MRB replied to Parker 1st MRB's topic in The Slope Chute
I actually had this happen as well. I gave the crap freely, I'm never going to use it. The person +rep'd me, whatever that meant. -
I didn't see any selling or mention on here. What's this book about? I'm always open to a good read. If you wrote badly I'm going to tell you though.

Teemo is killed 75 times per second, an increase of 324% over the last year. This is good.

StarCraft 2 Heart of the Swarm
Kirkendall 1st MRB replied to Quarterman 1st MRB's topic in Other Games
Zero comments because it's boring. I'm all for a good teaser trailer, but this is a sequel to a overly built-up franchise. There's no "girl I remember" because I didn't enjoy those games. The point of a teaser trailer is to "tease" me with good aspects of the game, this trailer doesn't really do that. I get more of a tease from this: Because that's how you make a fucking awesome game.
