  1. Looks outstanding! Let's get that recipe!
  2. I have unbanned you. Refrain from your Floyd lyrics. We may have slipped the memory fiber, but a wall of text doesn't move much.
  3. This guy may have the best English accent. http://www.wimp.com/englishaccent/#
  4. What does this have to do with Sports?
  5. That's a Vespa 150 TAP carrying an M20 Recoil-less rifle.
  6. Sora is a map that has limited spawn points. That is only a problem that can be fixed by remaking the map. Which, suffice to say, is probably not going to happen.
  7. Glasses houses and such Bryant. Glass houses. Anyways, to get this game back on track, let's go with an easy one. My most recent purchase:
  8. Actually Magoo, that's not the blaster model. If you're going just by naming the "props" sure you are right. It's a modified version of the Blastech Industries DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol (which was Han's quintessential pistol). I say modified because Merr-Sonn took the general design, and tuned it down smaller version, hence this very blaster: The Model 57 Blaster Pistol.
  9. *Cough* Controllers are the devices of the poor dirty half-breeds. I will wait for my joyous brethren of the PC elite to envelop that which is Dark Souls. Actually, I did purchase a used copy for cheap. I lent it to a friend and she hasn't forgiven me yet.
  10. Logical Fallacy: Argument from silence (argumentum e silentio) – where the conclusion is based on silence of opponent, failing to give proof, based on "lack of evidence"
  11. At 3:40ish I'm pretty sure he skims the ground
  12. At least when you are directing it at the Marines. Valve may be attainable through email. Also, Holland, I don't think Parker's made a post on this thread.
  13. Alternate demos brought to my attention have changed the verdict on this player. Something smells fishy, and when it smells this fishy, I prefer to have the fishy person cloe their legs and leave. Banned from servers.
  14. That was good, but I think this is a better trailer:
  15. Why are you bumping this? Everything to be said has basically been said. And "bump" doesn't add anything to be said. Just that everything's been said.
  16. Nothing conclusive in this demo.
  17. Subconscious techniques? Let's get all Freudian up in here! Coincidentally, I would like to see the study that supports the "me" homosexual business. How much longer does it take for them to sort it into the correct place? Is it statistically significant? Are there any parts of the test that could confound the results? Since it's the New York Times, they already accept that homophobic people are homosexuals deep at heart, they've had a number of articles that they've touted this before. Not to mention, as the author says in the last paragraph, "It’s important to stress the obvious: Not all those who campaign against gay men and lesbians secretly feel same-sex attractions. But at least some who oppose homosexuality are likely to be individuals struggling against parts of themselves, having themselves been victims of oppression and lack of acceptance." Wasn't that universally accepted before? That some people who don't like homosexuals may be at heart? Look at the members of the Republican party who have been caught at this. These continuing silly articles and when they raised their subscription fee is when I cancelled my NY Times.
  18. The demos provided are inconclusive. Player mEp is unbanned. I apologize for the inconvenience mEp, happy fragging. If anyone has any further concerns direct them to me.
  19. The powers and much of the other stylizations they give are more like Bioshock or Might and Magic than anything else. Oh, damn I'm good. Arkane Studios developed Might and Magic, as well as creative assistance on Bioshock 2.
  20. Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones for you wimps) and Lord of the Rings are such different books. They read completely different from each other. Very few people could ever encompass Tolkien's writing style, and thankfully George Martin doesn't try. I actually met George Martin a couple years ago (true story) when he came to a local book store for a book signing of his new book, The Ice Dragon, which if you can believe is a children's book. I had gone to meet him because I was reading Ice and Fire books, and because he used to teach at a local school. Very awesome old dude. Martin taught at Clarke College, Dubuque, Iowa, from 1976-1978. Granted that was long before I was born, but he made a special point to return to Dubuque.
  21. That's a bit of a silly way to pose an argument. Drawing an analogy like that doesn't fit, it's now like you're saying because she was disobeying the rules, whatever happens is her fault. Is that entirely true? Why? If I go out and "jaywalk" across the street, and I'm shot by a crazy man on the other side of the street, is that a situation where I just shouldn't have been in? I should've waited until getting to the crosswalk, and I may never have encountered this crazy madman. Granted, I'm taking your argument to an extreme, but where are you drawing the line? This seems arbitrary to say "she shouldn't have been there in the first place." That doesn't solve the problem, instead it throws the actual point away. So I reiterate, where are you drawing the line? Is anyone who breaks the law then at fault for whatever happens? How is the rape a foreseeable consequence?
  22. Drive Recklessly
  23. Before this goes any further, you guys would do exceedingly well to give a glance over to this. That's directed at all parties, not anyone in particular. Logic has been absent from this.
