  1. When I went to Vegas with my Dad in May I went to two shooting ranges and shot

    Sig Sauer P226

    Colt M1911

    M4

    SCAR-L

    M1 Garand

    Thompson

Then I went last Friday to a range and shot a Ruger and HK UMP .45

Have to say I loved the SCAR and Sig.

  2. Ok so I suggest you do the following:

    1) When you go into ventrilo make sure that the input and output device in the setup tab is set to whatever your mic is called.

    2) Go into your control panel and then into sound settings and make sure that in the playback and recording tabs that your microphone is set as the device with the green check.

    3) Update your computers sound drivers. To do so go into your control panel, then hardware and sound, then device manager and under audio click on each one and click update driver. Then hit search automatically and let it do its thing.

    4) Look at your microphone and see if there are any loose parts or wires that are showing. If there is that is a contributing factor.

Finally, if you could tell me what kind of headset you have that would help as well. Hope this helps!

  3. I would recommend at least an 850W Power Supply. The reasoning is that you will most likely need to be upgrading soon. The Radeon is old and 4 GB of RAM is really really low. I am pretty sure that you will have to be upgrading those in the near future. Your hard drive is fine, 1 TB is a lot of space.

Like you said you just want a new case and PSU so I would just say get those and then upgrade as needed. Remember, at least 850W. Also, be very careful to make sure that the case you get will hold the PSU and other components properly.

  4. I agree with sky it could be your sound card over heating I know you do have a laptop and laptops do tend to get hot especially when plugged into a charger. Does this problem happen after a while or does is your computer on for a while then this happens?

Also there are a couple of things you can do .

    1. Reinstall origin (I'm pretty sure you can reinstall it without having to reinstall all your games)

    2. Try updating the drivers for your sound card if no updates are available then reinstall the drivers.

Yea that is another good point. Laptops overheat a lot faster than desktops. Also, I highly recommend doing what Asencio said to do with the drivers. I didn't even think of that Ascencio.

  5. EDIT: Ok I found something. What I need you to do is still uninstall TS3 but also do this:

Go into your command prompt and type in "tracert steamcommunity.com > C:\output.txt". This will run a trace route and will put the output in a text file on your C drive. When you have done that copy and paste whatever is in that text file into a reply to this post.

Second, can you please tell me what operating system you are running?
