  1. Hey guys,

Just checking in to say hi.  I trust all is well.  I've been wanting to post for a while now, but I keep forgetting.  I would like to express my gratitude to those who remember me every year and take the time to make it known.  Though I don't browse the forums anymore I do search for my name for the sole purpose of remembering.  The birthday wishes do not go unnoticed.  I am still awestruck by the commitment members of this unit demonstrate to each other.  This, along with the steady growth of this unit, is a testament to the strong leadership encompassed within the unit.  It's been a few years since I retired, but I still long for the days of past and wish once again to contribute to the unit.  Now, however, is not the time as my talents are still needed elsewhere.  I sometimes wonder how long a thing like this can go on until the next big thing, and it is worrisome to think that when I do have free time this may all be gone.  I wanted to express my humblest gratuity before that can become a reality.  Thank you to everyone for making this an experience to remember.

I wanted to write less, but I didn't have the time.

    Until we shovel again,

    Lehman

how can so much rage come from a person who looks like the old man from up

The old man was a rage case until the end. Maybe when candy gets old he will be jolly =P

Uh....how'd I get into this conversation about Cannon?

Because Quarteman suffers from severe dyslexia and he confuses everything up. Especially names and words.

Welll fuck. This is why I hate you guys.

Lol, was going to say I am already OLD and jolly, thanks for the reminder...geez....=P

    ASHTAAAAG! #dyslexic #quartermansonofhalfman

Quoting is a hell of a drug!

This almost looks like when you stand in front of a mirror with a mirror on the opposite wall and you're naked...

  5. When I got it cut, it's only slightly longer right now. (Back in May 2013)

Got it cut since it would be easier to find a better job if I needed it anytime soon. So my grandad will now think of my hair as "respectable"

Did you lose all your power? Are you still mistaken for a girl? Do 10 year old girls still throw their training bras at you and ask you to sign their diary? Are you now allowed to move in two directions instead of only one?

    HA!

  6. I'm thankful for too many things to list, so I'll summarize.

    - An awesome daughter that is sometimes too much like me

    - An awesome team of volunteers at the firehouse that often go above and beyond for no compensation

    - Being part of the best unit on DODS

    - The members and officers of this unit putting in so much effort to make this a fun place to play and keep everything operating smoothly

    - Having a decent career and doing what I like

    - Being fortunate enough to work with strong leaders in all different aspects of life that have influenced me

Keep this going and post what you're thankful for!

  7. The biggest piece of misinformation is that it is the tea party's fault, it is the Republicans' fault, etc. This is more horseshit fed to the American people by obama himself in his recent speech. The Democrat controlled senate did not want to conference with the Republican controlled house to find a solution is what this whole thing comes down to. The few Republicans that stand up for what Americans actually want are being blamed because they're trying to get the point across that the government needs to start doing their jobs and listen to the people.
