PSU ='s Power supply unit. We have to know how many Watts your PSU is before you start looking at hardware so one knows if your PSU is outputting enough power to provide the graphics card with enough current and voltage. Since I know you bought a pre-built PC unless you specifically bought a unit with a larger than average PSU you maybe be running close to capacity, but let us know either way. Gouge, we did find out that having both game and vent open makes you lag. Playing without vent open allows you to play normally. Could another technician who is better at this please contact the 1stSgt. to resolve? Also if this issue resolves itself please keep us updated.

CWO Marsden might be better at this since he has much practice. But I will research mic issues in Dods and see what I turn up.

Boone, Not sure if this is more recent then the steam chat you sent me or not, but also do this "2. Have you tried re-installing DoD:S or verifying the integrity of the game cache. ( To do this right click DoD:S in steam, properties, local files tab, and click Verify integrity of game cache make sure you restart steam first)" Check the integrity to make sure all your files are non-corrupt. I remember I had you reinstall DoDs not that long ago so maybe try this to verify. Keep me updated. And also maybe you could run an autoexec with sv_cheats 0 so that it loads every time you load the game.

Also if you try this do me a favor and check the progress of achievements before and after launching the game to see if they are updating.

Mof, Are you installing a CD that came with headset or using the web? If it's a CD install the drivers then use a software tool like drivermax to to see if there is a recent update. Also if this doesn't work I had issues with the realtek audio drivers windows automatically installs with windows update and had to manually remove the realtek drivers for mine to work properly. I will do more research in AM at work and post anything I may find. Let me know either way good or bad. *Addition - So far I read a lot about compatibility issues with windows 10. I'm not sure if you are running ten or not. But others state that the drivers are not compatible* Shank
