I really hope Bama doesnt get to the BCS Championship yet again. Interested in seeing how Manziel aka No Fucks Given will follow up his Heisman performance. Also intrigued by Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater who is projected as the other offensive player to challenge Manziel for the Heisman and first QB taken in next years draft.

You travel back to 1348 next to the same rat that started the black plague. I wish I won 3 cars of my choice from a scratch off ticket.

I think the only way to really tighten the loop on this is to have 1st time offenders miss 1yr without pay and 2nd time offenders get kicked out of the game. If you compare the MLB to each of the other 3 major sports in NA the MLB has the harshest penalties for cheating. On my drive home from work today the sports station I listen to was interviewing the former MLB commissioner and asked what he thought would clear some of this crap up. His answer was all 4 major sports commissioners need to get together and hash out a general list of rules and penalties when it comes to PEDS. Id be willing to put money on the fact that the majority of people who use roids in sports use them because without them they will never make it to the pro level. For example the MLB minor league is littered with PED users and almost all of them use them to increase their batting average and fielding abilities just high enough to get that call up. These types of players will never amount to anything great and will have very average careers for a pro athlete. The media only seems to pay attention to this problem when a big star is associated with roids not when some average joe decides to juice up to make the cut. The sports industry has grown to the point imo where unless you implement very drastic changes things will only continue to get worse. People put athletes on such high pedestals that seems to make them think they are immune to the same laws we ordinary people have to follow.

Looks like the US is a bit shallow on the C position and the left off a few names that I was expecting to be on their preliminary list, but I know some of them can still make the team before the roster is set in stone. Looks like Canada has once again gathered if not the best roster on paper.

I think its hilarious to watch/listen to all the naysayers surrounding Tiger Woods. Yes he hasnt won a major in 5yrs and yes he seems to fuck it all up on the last day when it really counts, but guess what? He has 14 fucking majors. How many fucking majors do all these other golfers and analysts have? It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that yes even though Tiger may be getting back to his old self something is still out of sync when it comes to his mental game. I get that he only gets this much attention because 1. he is the best player in the world since a guy named Jack and 2. he is still trying to distance himself from the personal problems that he created, but to say that he has lost his game to the point of becoming just another tour player is baffling to me.

If Cooke decides to go back to his "old/neverchanged" style at least he wont hurt any Wild players. I did find something on HFBoards that make me chuckle though. Ottawa Fan: one persons trash is another persons trash Random Poster: And yours is Neil.

I never said he was. I only raved about him when he was on his yearly streak for fantasy purposes. The only reason the Wild even traded Burns for him was b/c he was coming off a 30g season. He has struggled to get even 20 the past 2 years since he left SJ. Playing with guys like Marleau and Thorton will make just about any average wingers numbers jump a bit. I think the Jets media is over hyping a guy who is a average 2-3 line winger.

Have fun with a guy who is as streaky as Johnson playing LOL. He only has this year left on his contract so have fun giving him a huge deal that will fuck you for the next 5yrs.

I hate all of those people who say every year almost every signing was overpaid. In todays market in the 4 major sports in NA (NHL, NBA, NFL, MLB) you almost have to overpay to get the best FA each offseason. Not every year is going to be the same in terms of quality, but that doesnt mean people will all of a sudden become reasonable adults and actually pay players what they are worth not what it takes to sign them on your team.

I can't believe Calgary actually passed on Shinkaruk, who was projected to go earlier, and is a home town kid. Pretty laughable. I would be livid if Feaster was my teams GM. Aside from the Schneider trade, not a bad day for the Canucks. I just heard Max Domi call the Coyotes a great organization.

With the amount of guys we have in the minors that are knocking at the door it would be cheaper and smarter in the long run to get something for Clutter. Ive heard Nino has a very nice upside, but like you said still needs some polishing. I really hope we dont get rid of Seto unless we get a proven Top4 Dman. All I hear about him is how inconsistent he is. He is 26 and just entering his prime and if Cullen resigns and continues to help him develop I see him as a top 4 forward.
