Have you spoken with xbox already? because if you havent you should so that thwey can begin to work with EA about not stealing from the users.... it's frowned upon dontcha know. Well see there in lies my confusion, it my right to buy a rifle if i want it, I can understand why there would be a registry somewhere that it is considered a privelege, and it seems right to me. Same concept as a car here, you have the right to be ABLE to purchase it, but in order to use the privilage of driving and what not you have to register ur car and apply for the privlige of a license, don't see why it would be any different for gun ownership, mind you still totally backwards to my way of thinking but i can see the logic in a registry program there, not here, you can register my rifles when you peel them from my cold dead hands.

Why would you have to register a hunting rifle? My American sensibilities have been shattered as that impedes my right to bear arms. Handguns should be registered, they were designed and are used for one thing, killing people/dueling people.

Says not set and in the alt settings said 0's, the modem had been reset three times before getting the MAC filter error and his PC was off, I am just curious in a WTF kind of way as to what happened to the MAC.

A map like this is known as dod_switchback, is a really awesome map but isn't comonly used for some reason. I like the idea though, and your other ideas are good but potentially difficult to implement. I am looking into tutorials on scripting to try and figure out a few ways to get some of the things that your talking about into maps that are in the brainstorm proccess.

The item is an Xbox 360 connecting through just a Road Runner standard issue modem. The MAC address seems to have been removed from the console, thus triggering the console's interpenetration that MAC filtering was on for the Modem Settings. A modem does not contain DHCP protocols (A gateway device does but not a modem) and nor do most have a complex enough firewall system to implement MAC filters. The reason I said I knew it couldn't be fixed is the console in question is not mine but somewhere accross the country from me or in Canada. I had already figured out that it was not the Modem settings blocking the console from connecting (had the person look in the admin page and look for firewall settings, his modem has on or off, doesn't even support port forwarding) so I went on a search for MAC address, none anywhere in the console. So to rephrase my question, how did the previous owner of the console do this and is it reversable?

Thats funny because whenever I download a map off the forum it gives me a no BZP error, but that only happens if I download the file individually. The only time you would need a .rar program would be for the map packs, skin packs so on and so forth otherwise you should simply be able to draga and drop it on into your folder. the .rar program i use is .rarFROG and it works rather well and I have not noticed any adverse affects to my computer/laptop that it is installed to (well my comps motherboard bit the dust but that was becasue it was a lemon and was taking a shit before i downloaded the .rar client). the other good program I know of that I haven't heard of having problems is WinRar.

Someone who has a history of throwing elbows, and does it blatantly and with the intent of causing another player harm shouldn't simply be suspended. They should be removed from the sport, don't care how good he may be when he is actually showing some sportsmanship, don't care if that team will never be able to win again. If you aren't going to act like a professional you shouldn't be alloud to play with professionals. Hence why I no longer will ever care about basketball, am beggining to not care about american football, and baseball and soccer/football just boor me on tv

I wouldn't do it. because do you honestly want to know how much semen is caked on say the kitchen counter? the drapes? the table you are doing your work on/playing games on? the answer to all of these questions for me is plain and simply no. I comet everything i can in a hotel room before I actually touch anything.
