Why do i feel as though the playoffs now are alot more predictable during this round. Theres no wild card teams that are making things interesting. I mean cmon toronto almost handing it to bruins? That was a crazy series, but the best series ive seen so far was ottawa and montreal. It would be quite a show if Ottawa somehow managed to put up a fight against the penguins. Although, i am interested in who will survive the matchup between the bruins and the rangers, but i cant help feeling that ive seen these teams in the playoffs before.....its like watching NY giants vs the patriots in the superbowl. The same ole teams out on top...boring.

hmmm to pay $500 to see the jets play in Winnipeg, or to see them play in LA where tickets cost $50-$100....I love my team, but for $500...naw.

I just hauled 2 heavy boxes of diving equipment upstairs and now i have to bring them back downstairs at work. Tempted to roll the dam boxes down the stairs.

It was as if millions of Maple Leaf fans cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. Sad sad day. I was really hoping they would win. I looked at my phone just before i went into the movies to watch the great gatsby and saw the score and said to myself ok...they have this in the bag...2 mins left..ahead by 2....cmon. After the movie i looked at my phone and was dumbstruck. I cant imagine how painful of a loss that is for the players and fans.

Agreed. Ottawa having those players makes them a whole new beast to mess with. I'm sorta surprised at how the Ovechkin line has been sorta quiet the past 2 games. NYR might get the best of them if they dont step up.

I agree with you parker, but i was just saying if they did play either of those teams NYR, wash or pits they wouldnt stand a chance. I know ottawa wont make it, but what im saying is those 3 teams are superior to ottawa and toronto lol. I'm not comparing NYR, wash and pits to eachother. I'm just saying that they would beat ottawa and toronto if either of them played at any point in time. Your looking way too into it . I would love to see washington against Pittsburgh. I kinda wanted NYR to win, but now you mention it seeing them play against eachother would be awesome.

If you didn't know how the playoff brackets work, Ottawa is facing the winner of the PIT/NYI series. TOR/BOS will face the winners of the NYR/WAS series. Ottawa is going to get destroyed by the Pens, there is no chance in hell Anderson is going to shut down Crosby, Malkin, Neal, Iggy, Kunitz, and Letang. The Islanders are keeping up with them because they demolished flower's confidence, but with a veteran like Vokoun in the cage to play a relaxed game, the Islanders and the Sens are going to get destroyed. IF Toronto can win tonight in Boston, they get to come back home and try to beat Boston at the ACC for the first time which I think they can do. The series would probably be tied 2-2 if Phaneuf wasn't such a fuck up. Here's hoping he only plays 21 minutes instead of 31 minutes, the more he plays the dumber he gets. They beat Boston at home once already so I have faith they can do it again. PLEASE WIN TORONTO, I WANT 1 MORE GAME AT HOME! What i meant was if ottawa or toronto ever got far enough to play either wash or NYR and of course pittsburgh i dont think they would last. Like if they ever played any of those teams i dont believe they would win.

Give ottawa some credit. They may stand a chance against Pittsburgh. Toronto could surprise boston. Although i would have to agree that Toronto and Ottawa would be facing a great challenge if they played the likes of the rangers or capitals.

Price is out for the rest of the series. Wonder if Budaj will hold up against Ottawa. It will be very fun to watch tonight. First Ellar, now Gionta and Price? I feel bad for Montreal. What i assumed would be a sort of boring series between the 2 teams turned out to be one of the best playoff series I've ever watched. Saddening about the injuries, but the crazyness factor is through the roof.
