Crashing when tabbing

Hi guys some of you may have noticed for the last 3 days i am only in the game for a few minutes at a time.

My problem is i crash when i press tab.

Things i have done :

cleared and rebound my scoreboard button ( i now use 'o' ) - so not a scoreboard problem

deleted clientregistry.blob

Any suggestions?

this is happening to me too. i have vista and i have done the "verify integrity of game cache" and defragged my game. i deleted the client.blob and my game is updated...ive restarted steam ect.

Do you guys use your 'alt' key for anything? If so, it might be you're crashing when you hit alt+tab which is a common occurrence for some people when playing source games.

no sir it's only when i click tab to see score or shift tab to go to steam community

Windows XP Professional (5.1, build 2600)

This problem just started when i moved back home ( 4 days ago )

I have tested just pressing the tab key which crashes my game.

I rebound 'o' to use as scoreboard now and it works 100% fine.

Tried these solutions with no success :

Verify integrity of game cache

Defragged game files

Cleared and rebound my scoreboard button ( i now use 'o' ) - so not a scoreboard problem

Deleted clientregistry.blob
