Greetings 1st MRB,


My name is Victor Hawk and I am the Public Affairs Officer for the 1st Ranger Battalion, I am here to introduce our unit and hopefully start fruitful relations between our units.

The 1st Ranger Battalion is a realism unit for the game Day of Defeat: Source. We call ourselves a "realism unit" due to the fact that we attempt to emulate the way an actual unit in World War II would have been ran. We implement a Basic Combat Training program where we teach our new comers how to function as a soldier should in the 1st Ranger Battalion, and in the realism community. We emphasize respect and honor at all times - the 1st Ranger Battalion is a serious unit, and one that is always on the hunt for more competition. With our professional staff we strive to ensure that our members will be well disciplined and well trained.

We would like to invite you to play on our servers indicated below, futhermore, you may also introduce yourselves in our Unit Relations section of our forums. If you wish to request a match against us, please do so in the War Department section. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to add me on steam, or send me a PM.

Greetings to you Pfc. Hawk [1st RB] and to the 1st Ranger Battalion.

I am WO. S. Jones and am the public affairs officer for the 1st MRB, many thanks for introducing yourself and the 1st RB to us. We operate in a similar way to the 1st RB, recruits are required to complete BCT's where they are taught the required disapline as well as learning some of the basic skills required to be effective in realisms. We operate under a strict rank structure and pride ourselves on being a respectful unit but also competitive. We are very active within the realism community, always open to the offer of official scrims and in contacting other units to set up scrims.

I will post some details of the 1st MRB on your forum and also request a scrim in your war department.

We look forward to meeting the 1st RB

      MARINE CORPS ENLISTMENT OFFICE Camp Pendleton, CA   RECRUITMENT LETTER     Hello Paul Smith, Thank you for taking interest in joining the 1st Marine Raider Battalion.   During your trial period the following will occur: Once accepted as a Recruit, you will remain as a Recruit for 2 weeks from the day of your acceptance until the next BCT Class is offered. During your time as a recruit, it is highly encouraged to play within the Public Server and join Discord with our other members. Upon acceptance, you will be contacted by one of our DIs when the next available BCT is scheduled via the appropriate Discord channel.   We have a BCT class every two weeks. Please keep an eye out for when the next one is made available once you've completed your time requirements!   Upon stating that you understand all the information here, an admin will change your forum name and login to be :   P. Smith 1st MRB   Take the time now to change your Steam and in-game name to:   Rec. P. Smith [1st MRB]     Please make sure to verify your forum account by checking your email. Also, please respond below with a reply showing that you have read and understand these rules. You cannot be fully accepted until you do so.
