Waffle was telling me about this the other day. If I'm not mistaken, it's running the same engine that portal 2 is running.

He also said, that there is a rumor DoD may be next on the agenda, but it's just a rumor at this point, no confirmation.

It's nice to know insiders at Valve

By the way, I got more enjoyment reading the comments than I did reading about the game. Never been a fan of Counter-Strike.

I am pretty stoked for this. I can honestly say, if they are doing a new CS, a new DOD is on the way, its just natural progression. ANd this means it'll come out right after I get back from deployment, where i will be building my big ass mothafucking desktop. Can you say a WOOOOOOOOHOOO!

Not sure, but I hope they dont fuck it up by moving it into the future . Keep it same time area, just new weapons, maby some gadgets

If I had to speculate.

Maybe new classes, like old DoD. With British on certain maps, maybe Panzer Elites. New Weapons, new maps, and of course a new engine and updated graphics.

I doubt they would switch to the Pacific, nothing that drastic, but you never know with Valve.

Then again, this is all just a guess. They might not even mess with DoD.
