cant join the pub

so i cant join the pub because some internet problem or something else everyone knows that the pendleton server has a higher ping for nearly everyone and i can join that server, but when i refresh my favorites on dod the pub doesnt show up and ive tried to join friends and taking the ip but nothing seems to work, yesterday i could play it for 1 hour maybe 2 but then it just disappeared again so i dunno what to do i would really appreciate help thx/// sincerely Jonathan Anderson 1/3

Step 1:

1.) Exit Steam

2.) Browse to your Steam folder on your computer (usually C:\Program Files\Steam)

3.) Now delete the following files: ClientRegistry.blob, SteamUI.dll and steamclient.dll

4.) Restart Steam and it will do an update and hopefully fix your problem

Start there and if that doesn't work post again

unfortunely it didnt help the strange thing is just that the pub is gone all my other favorites are still there

i do have the same problem! i heard that elf have it to. might be somthing whit the internet conection from wher the server is located and sweden! what company are you geting ur internet from?

Step one > Win XP - Click Start and click Run ::: Win 7 - click Start > All Programs > Cmd Prompt > Skip to step three

Step two > type cmd

Step three > type tracert 208.167.243.207

Step four > copy paste the info

I get this all the time for all my steam games. What I do is put the server ip into the console and type connect server ip try that and see if it works for you.

Looks like you are not having any problems talking to the server so I dont know what could be wrong. I couldn't find anything related to your problem on the steam forums.

it still doesnt work but i dont get it only when it is few players on the pub i can join but when it go past a certain limit it just disappears

oh and i just found out engle's way works for me

So the server doesn't show up in your game browser when you have the problem connecting, correct?

If so, exit the game and see if you can see it using the steam browser (the steam icon on bottom right task bar).

magoo, i can refresh the server list for 4-5 times then i can se it and the ppl. but when i try to join i get my 4 attempts and then shut down the connecting. i have tried to restart steam, restart my comp, restart my raouter. but i think it have somthing to do whit telia (my internet provider) and the internet provider for the server. dont know if ther is a way for the server host to check the connection they have whit telia. but i will try to contakt my internet provider and se what they can do somthing.
